Chapter 9- Another Sin Down

The group had gotten Gideon back for Diane, "Lady Armella, do you have a special weapon?", Armella smiled at Elizabeth, "I do, it's name is Demon Slayer.". Armella held out her hand and a simple sword with a silver blade embedded with sapphire stones and a shining silver hilt with a gold wrap appeared, "This sword was gifted to me by the Elven Council before the war against the Demon Race when I was young. All able hands were called upon to defend our home, my hands were trained in many different forms of combat for I travelled the land and trained with many different masters. Just before the war began, the Elven High Lady, Hilligold, gave a few of her soldiers abilities that would help them in battle. I was given my magic and my defensive and offensive battle knowledge evolved it for Counter Blast and Double Strike as well as the speed of my reequip as I grew stronger, my abilities did too. When the war ended all my comrades had their powers stripped from them, but mine stayed. Hilligold believed it was because I served a greater purpose that had not been foretold yet. With our home land destroyed by war, the first fairy king came to us and gave us a home at the base of the fairy tree. After a few years, a lot of years to you guys, I was sent on a mission and I was gone for a long time. By the time I returned Lady Elaine was guarding the Fountain of Youth and the forest and within 6 days of me being home a red demon attacked and destroyed the forest. The elves had all been killed in the attack and I was badly wounded. I wrapped my wounds and used elven healing and began to try and find survivors, I found Lady Hilligold. She gave me the powers to heal but I didn't know how to use them properly, my body healed itself and I couldn't heal anyone else. I left and travelled, after a while, I ran into Meliodas and I had a brother and friend again.", Elizabeth smiled, "But why don't you use Demon Slayer?", Meliodas spoke, "Firstly, because she's the last of a race and wielding that blade would expose her. Secondly,-", Ban spoke up, "Our weapons focus and increase our attacks. Nearly doubles their power. If Armella's attacks were more powerful and focused-", Armella finished, "They could level a town and kill hundreds of people. So I don't use my sword. I use others and I fare well.", she glanced around as she felt a strong source of power to the west, "I feel it too.", she raised an eyebrow, "We should check it out.", and the group went toward the source

What the group had stumbled upon was a group of Holy Knights trying to fight the iron giant with a small boy with pink hair by his side. Armella ran forward and changed into her classic Knight armor and a simple sword was quickly in her hands, "What's going on? Who's in the suit?", Gowther glanced at the woman, "Hello, Armella. I was told you were dead. I'm glad to see I was told wrong.", Meliodas and Ban joined the two, and King slowly floated over as Diane stood behind them, "These men wish to kill my friend. They've been ordered to take back the iron giant's head. The most favorable outcome is surrendering.", in the background, Armella could hear the guards freaking out over the sins and the Knight Princess, "So. I shall surrender my friend.", and Gowther cut off his friend's head and the holy knights were shocked. But took it and left, "Gowther, the Holy knights are planning something, it's bad. It's going to harm the whole land. We are gathering to stop them by request of the Third Princess of Liones, Elizabeth.", Gowther looked at the group, "Will you join us?", he glanced around and noticed a shift in Ban and Armella, as well as Armella herself. He looked at the red-haired beauty, "Yes. It will be good for me to witness the Captain and Ban together, as well as yourself. Something has changed within you, Armella. What is it?", she didn't even try to hide her journey from him, "Oh. How unfortunate. Ban, that's very wrong of you. But you've found your one, even though he is the enemy. The shift I felt, your tainted with the darkness, but with Howzer, it's not there. That's good. A dark Armella Belmont would not be favorable to the Sins or the kingdom. Do you still wish for me to alter your memories?", and the group gapped at her, "Armella, what's this idiot talking about?", she didn't speak as she kept eye contact with Gowther, "I knew what was happening to me before you all figured it. I assumed I wouldn't meet my one before I fully shifted, but that we might meet Gowther or Merlin. Both are capable of removing my memories of the relationship from me. With the memories gone, the shift from good to Dark would happen slower and that would give me the chance to find my one and be okay again. But since I've met Howzer, everything is good. I don't need my memories altered, and if my the off change I hadn't met my one and we hadn't found Merlin or Gowther before the Holy Knights move against Britannia, Meliodas was told to kill me should I get closer to turning dark.", the group all sighed, Diane spoke, "Why would you do that? Make these plans?", Armella spoke, "Once I had of turned dark my only mission would be to kill those from my past so that I could live a new life. I would have killed the Sins in our party, Hawk, and Elizabeth before returning to Elton and killing the whole town, and then beginning my search for the last two Sins. Once they were dead, if I hadn't of died first. I'd move into the darkest woods I could find and take over the nearest town. Were I would wait for others of darkness to join me before we would move to take over the land. I figured you all would be opposed to said future so I took measures to prevent it from happening. Those measures are no longer needed. It's over with. We can move on. Now. Let's get back to the Boar's Hat. I'm hungry and need a drink.", and she walked away with Gowther following her.
