The Rise of Voltron PT. 2

Note to self: never let Lance pilot a giant blue alien lion.

"You. are. the. worst. Pilot. Ever!!" I shouted as he flew the lion in circles.

"Isn't this awesome?" Lance asked excitedly.

"Make it stop. Make it stop." Hunk begged, looking a little sick.

"I'm not making it do anything. It's like this thung is on autopilot."

The lion rose up and took off into the atmosphere.

"Where are you going?" I asked, getting real annoyed by how this idiot is flying.

"I just said it was on autopilot! It says there's an alien ship approaching Earth. I think we're supposed to stop it."

"What did it say exactly?" Pidge yelled.

"Well, it's not like its saying words. It's more like feeding idras into my brain, kind of." Lance replied.

"Well, if thing is the weapon they're coming for, why don't we just, I don't know, give it to them? Maybe they'll leave us alone. Sorry lion. Nothing personal." Hunk suggested, but that was not an option.

"You don't understand. These monsters spread like a plague throughout the galaxy, destroying everything in their path. There's no bargaining with them. They won't stop until everything is dead." Shiro explained.

Whoever these aliens are, they really need to go down. Before we knew it, we were out of Earth's atmosphere and in open space. But then, we saw our enemy.

I glared at the giant purple ship that just appeared in front of us.

"Holy crow! Is that really an alien ship?" Hunk asked.

"They found me."Shiro muttered.

The Blue Lion flew over the ship, but was then attacked by a barrage of purple lasers.

"We've gotta get it out of here!" Pidge shouted.

We shouted and screamed as Lance maneuvered the lion out of the way of the lasers.

"All right. Okay. I think I know what to do." Lance said.

"Be careful, dude! This isn't the simulator!" Pidge shouted.

Lance laughed, "Well, that's good. I always wreck the simulator."

Lance's hand held on tight to the handle as he pushed it forward. The lion opened its mouth and shot a blue laser at the alien ship.

Lance continued to dodge and shoot lasers at the ship.

"Nice job, Lance." Shiro congratulated.

"Now I think it's time to get these guys away from our planet." Lance said.

On the alien ship, a purple skinned alien in a dark uniform was speaking to his leader.

"Lord Zarkon," the man said, "The escaped prisoner and his people have found the lion. It attacked us and is heading out of the system."

"Follow that lion and alert all ships in the area to intercept. Capturing that loon is your first anf only priority."

"Yes, Your Majesty. Full power after the lion!"

The Blue lion flew faster as the alien ship gained up on them .

"This is weird. They're not trying to shoot us, they're just chasing us." Lance said.

"Okay, seriously, now we think having aliens following us is good?" Hunk panicked for hundredth time today, "I am not on board with this new direction, guys."
