I stared at the leader of a rebel organization. He was masked and covered in black and dark purple.

I was floating in open space, when I was picked up by a Galra. I was afraid at first, but his flame reassured me that I would be okay in his care.

He took me and brought me to their base.

When I lay eyes on the leader, I never wavered in his presence.

He was Galra, yes, but he wasn't just any Galra, he was so much more different.

He had a flame that shone with courage and seriousness. He was strong and fought for a cause, but it was also twisted with his beliefs.

The beliefs that the mission comes before the ones risking themselves for its completion.

He walked up to me and knelt down to my height. I sighed and stood straight as his mask vanished, revealing his scowling Galran face.

"Why do you not fear us, little one?" He asked.

My eyes did not waver when he asked me his question, my strong will keeping me from being intimidated by his expression and deep voice.

"What's there to fear?" I asked, "I see no reason to fear someone with such a warm flame."

His eyebrow raised confused by my words, "Who are you?"

I smiled and cupped my hands, creating a flame and startling the man.

"They call me, Phoenix. I am a child who holds great skills and abilities. If you may allow me, I would like to assist you in your fight against the Galra Empire and its Emperor."

"Hmph." The Galra said chuckling at my words, "You seem older than you are." He stood up straight and held his hand out towards me.

"You may call me Kolivan. I am the leader of the Blade of Marmora. Now, let's see what you can offer."

I smiled and took his hand, feeling safe.

My eyes opened slowly as my dream called upon me.

I sat up and rubbed the back of my neck, feeling stiff and sore.

Then I looked down, finally realizing that I had slept while painting.

After cleaning up my supplies and placing them back into the box I was given, I walked out of my room and towards the bridge.

No one noticed my presence until I walked behind Keith, who was jumped when I placed a hand on his shoulder.

He turned around and calmed down when he saw me, "You okay, Keith?" I asked, "You seem a little anxious."

He shook his head and looked away from me.

"Coran," Shiro said, "How soon will we get to the Blade of Marmora's base?"

"Based on the coordinates that Ulaz gave us, we should be there within a few doboshes." Coran replied.

"I can't wait to see it." Pidge said excitedly, "I mean, they were able to fold space-time, and that was just at an outpost!"

"Mm, the space taco. It left us too soon." Hunk said as he rubbed his rumbling stomach.

I chuckled at their dreams of the Marmora base.

"Well, sure, but my point is, imagine how amazing their home base will be!"

"Exactly. It could take on any shape. Like a space jelly donut. Or long, like a space éclair. Or a space cheese blintz with a cherry sauce on top. Maybe a little dusting of powdered sugar. That's the stars."
