Ana's POV
Fortunately, the afternoon wasn't as hectic as the morning, the only incident that seemed quite serious was a biker who was hit by a car. He was bleeding all over and had a concussion as well. The Ambulance took him in just in time, so there will be no permanent physical damage.
I was walking back to my office at the end of my shift when Lizzy jumped in front of me and intended to hug me but she stepped back and pointed at my clothes.
"Ugh, there's blood all over you! I heard about that biker, poor guy! Come and get cleaned up, then let's go home together. Since you're staying over tonight, we could order some food, okay?" - she was till super excited about the whole thing.
"We can order anything but thai food, all right?" - I said while changing my clothes and she burst into laughter.
"No thai food then, I've had enough of it for the rest of my life too. What about pizza?"I looked at her and licked my lips."I take it as a yes." - she smiled and after gathering all our belongings we headed to her place.
Lizzy's house was full of clothes scattered everywhere, so we practically ate our pizza sitting on top of piles of clothes.
"How on earth can you have all these clothes? Where do you store them? And why do you have hats all over the place?" - I asked her while looking around her bedroom.
"Well, you know that clothes are my weakness, but normally I'm not that messy. I have wardrobes to store them in, but today morning, after I had found out about the tickets, I just had the urge to find the perfect Wimbledon dress. Although I couldn't find it yet, I'm not giving up!" - she looked around her room proudly and I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm.
"We might be sitting on top of our perfect Wimbledon dresses... - I added and we started laughing at our current situation.
"Oh and about the hats, you have to wear a hat to Wimbledon, right? Isn't it an Outfit Rule Number 1 or something?" - she asked me with an unsure expression on her face.
"Don't look at me! You're the fashionista, you tell me the Wimbledon dress code! I'm here because you made me come with you, but I can promise you one thing: I'm not wearing any of your hats!" - I told her, pointing at the colourful hats scattered all around the room.
"No hats then... But we still have to pick our dresses!" - she exclaimed enthusiastically. So for the next few hours we were trying on Lizzy's thousands of outfit-ideas.
After midnight we realized that we could barely stand in front of the mirror anymore from the lack of sleep, so we decided to leave the whole dress selecting process for the next day. Within ten minutes we were both in bed, sound asleep, without any of us thinking of setting the alarm...
