Ana's POV
I already felt my feet moving to the rhythm of the Spanish songs.
"I'm not sure we'll be able to get inside..." - I said, looking at the long queue of people waiting to finally get inside the building.
"We will, trust me. We're using the back entrance." - Jake winked at us and started walking towards the back of the club.
"What?" - the three of us asked at the same time, looking confused.
"Everything's gonna be fine, I happen to know the guy who owns the place. He was one of my patients a few weeks ago and he owes me a favor..." - he explained as we arrived at the back entrance, where a man was waiting. For us.
"Finally! I thought you'd changed your mind, Jake!" - the man greeted us with a smile.
"Never. This place is just as great as you said it was!" - Jake said and we stepped inside the building.
The music was much louder inside, I couldn't hear my own thoughts, but I absolutely loved this feeling. The last thing I wanted to care about right now were my upsetting thoughts in my stupid head.
"Come, the VIP section is right there. Here, the cards, you can enter there with them." - the man explained and gave each of us a card.
"Wait a minute, we're going to the VIP section??? What exactly did you do for him, Jake, that he owes you a favor like this??" - Lizzy asked, totally shocked.
"Let it be our secret, honey. Now, if you excuse me, I have other VIP guests to deal with. Enjoy the night everyone! Welcome to España!" - the man shouted over the music and left us.
"Wow, now that's what I call a perfect night!" - Lizzy exclaimed and headed to the VIP section. There were lots of people in the club already, and it was only 10.20 pm. Most of them were on the dance floor, dancing to the never ending Spanish songs, but the bar was full as well.
"Let's drink something!" - Oliver suggested and Jake agreed immediately. The boys ordered tequila shots, while Lizzy and I were sipping Piña Coladas. I didn't want to mix more than two types of alcoholic drinks, because I knew that nothing good would come out of it. I already felt my body heating up from alcohol and from the hot temperature inside the club, caused by the hot July weather and the sweating, dancing people on the dance floor.
I quickly finished my cocktail and turned to the others. - "Does anyone want to dance?" - I shouted.
"Yeah, let's go hit the dance floor!" - Lizzy stood up and took my hand, pulling me deep into the crowd. It was great dancing again, feeling the rhytm pounding in my chest. I loved the music, there were all kinds of Spanish songs: from Enrique Iglesias remixes to traditional Spanish ballads. I almost forgot how much I missed Spain and my old life there. Everything was so different back then. I missed my old home, I missed the people and the places where we used to go with my friends. The small bars in Alicante, the streets, the sea. All the memories suddenly came back and for a moment, I imagined I was back there.
