There stood a girl with beautiful long silver hair, with blue wide eyes that had traces of tears making her look like a deity
They just stared at each other, admiring each others looks. After a while, Zarian snapped into reality
"Little girl, who are you? Why are you here alone? It's dangerous especially at this time of the night" Zarian looked at her watch and saw that it was past 8 o'clock
The little girl just stared, but after a while of silence she spoke in a hushed voice
"M-my name is M-mimi... I..erhm..ran away from papa" Mimi said while looking down, fidgeting her tiny little fingers
Zarian sighed with a helpless look on her face
"Now why would you do that?" She patiently asked
Mimi looked up in shock, the woman didn't scold her! Finally gathering enough courage, Mimi spoke in a much confident voice
"Because he's always working! Work here, work there! Work, work, work." She complained, her pale face turning red in an instant
Zarian blinked.
"Pfftt, hahahha"
Soon after, she started laughing while clutching her stomachLittle Mimi couldn't help but grin, this woman's laugh is beautiful!
After laughing, Zarian wiped the tears off of her face
"Little girl, i think it's time for you to go back home. You're papa is probably worried sick by now" she spoke softly
Mimi hesitated, she pursed her lips
Seeing the girl hesitate, Zarian spoke in a motherly voice
"Little Mimi, i know your papa loves you and cares for you. He might not show it, but people have different ways in showing affection. Your papa loves you enough to work endlessly to give you food on you plate, clothes for you to wear and especially, a home for you to live in. Now come on, show me the way and I'll accompany you to your home"
Little Mimi smiles widely and nodded.
Both of them sat up while dusting off the dirt in their clothes. Little Mimi reached up and held Zarian's hand
Though shocked, Zarian smiled nonetheless
