SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

This story goes off the comic series Grayson.

(One of my favorite Dick Grayson comics.)

The chapter is based around it, but even if you haven't read the comic you'll understand. And if you have read the comic, I'm not completely following it, just using it as a sort-of base.

Just so y'know.

(OH! ALSO ALSO! The picture above is from the comic. The tech Dick uses in the comic makes it impossible for people and cameras to see/remember his face. In the scene up there he turns if off for a second while he and Clark are running away from these guys. The lady was getting close, so Dick turns it off. She gets one look at him and wipes out. One of the many reasons I love the comic)

ALRIGHT LET'S GET TO IT!!!!

Normal POV

"Red Hood, head to the south side. Red Wing, the east. I'll be going to-" Damian, aka the current Batman, was interrupted from assigning patrol areas by static from the batcomputer. No image came up, just bad sound.

"-Malone-" A young voice spoke, in what sounded like a panic, through the call. "Line - secure."

Damian rushed over to the computer, trying to get the connection to work. It had a strong encryption, the line meant to be heard by the other and whoever 'Malone' was.

"Mr. - lone? This- Birdwa-"

Tim came up to the computer, looking it over while Damian tried to work. "What are they saying?"

"I don't know, the connection isn't good." Damian stepped aside and let Tim give a go at it. (Damian may not, and probably never will, admit that his younger brother was one of the best hackers he knew.) He turned back to the screen and grabbed a mic, hoping to get any sort of message through. "Who is this? Whoever you are, we are not your Malone."

"Line insecure -cher out." All noise from the computer stopped, leaving the three batboys completely bewildered.

"You don't think Bruce is Malone, do you?" Jason stepped up, adding his two cent. It was a possibility, but it was impossible to ask him. The three heroes had one thought on their mind, 'Dumb Amnesia. . .' Perfect timing right.

"He sounded young." Tim sighed, finally stepping away from the keyboard. "And scared." Damian nodded. He had a weird feeling, the voice sounded like someone he knew, but he couldn't place it. (the static didn't help with that)

Damian took off his mask, glancing back at the computer. "You two go on patrol. I'm gonna see if I can figure out anything about our mystery caller."

"You sure?" Jason asked, was he concerned about going out with just Tim? No. But Damian hardly ever skipped patrol. Gotham needed Batman.

"The city will survive one night." Tim and Jason nodded, turning to leave. Damian took a seat in front of the large computer, sitting in his father's chair.

"Birdwatcher?" He whispered, he thought he'd heard the person say it. That may have been their name, code name.

But who would Bruce have a connection with? Did they know who he was? Did he know the rest of the families secrets?

Were they working together? Was this Birdwatcher collecting and sending information, or was Bruce sending them info?

Damian searched the files for anything on Birdwatcher, or Bird, or Watcher, or Malone. There was nothing.
