Dracula was in his room, debating on what he should do about Jamie. He zinged with her, but every time he zinged with someone, they ended it up dying. But then he thought of how long he and Jamie have known each other, knowing that she is tougher than she looks. He remembered that everyone just wants him to be happy and Jamie made him feel that way. So he left his room to search for her. That's when he ran into Mavis.
"Mavis, honey, have you seen Jamie?" he wondered.
"Last time I saw her, she was in the ballroom. Why so curious?" she smirked.
"I need to talk to her about last night," Drac answered.
"Okay. Go and talk to her," Mavis directed.
He went to the ballroom, but didn't find her. He then started looking through the hotel, but she was nowhere to be found, which increased his worry.
"Guys!" Drac yelled.
"What's wrong, Drac?" Frank wondered.
"Jamie's gone! I can't find her anywhere!" Drac told them.
"We have to find her," Murray stated.
That's when they heard a scream. They recognized it to be Jamie's.
"Let's go!" Griffin and Wayne yelled.
They all took off to find her.
Jamie screamed because one of the bats scratched her hard on the back, but that didn't stop her from running. She hid behind a tree as the other bats flew away. She sighed in relief until she turned around to be face to face with Bela.
"Hello there," he smirked then pinned her to the ground.
She struggled against his grasp, but he was too strong for her.
"Say goodbye, human," Bela declared then readied his claws.
Jamie was confused and scared at the same time. She shut her eyes and waited for the impact, but then he wasn't holding her down anymore. She opened her eyes to see Drac, standing over her protectively while Bela was on the ground, being held down by the other monsters. Drac then turned to Jamie, helped her up, then noticed her back.
"We need to get her back to the hotel now," Drac informed, turned to Bela with a cold glare, and threatened, "Do not come near her again or I will hunt you down, kill you, and hang you over my mantle in my hotel."
At that, the monsters let Bela go and he flew away.
"I'll do what I want," he muttered.
Once he was out of sight, the others got Jamie back to the hotel without a word. She was sent to the hospital part of the hotel and had her back checked out.
When she was done, she fixed her shirt then Drac came in with an angry look on his face.
"What's wrong?" Jamie asked.
"Where were you?" Drac remarked.
"What?" she wondered.
"Where were you?! I couldn't find you anywhere in the hotel and I thought you ran away!" he yelled.
"Why would I run away from a place where I can fit in? And also, why were you so concerned when you have been avoiding me the whole night?" Jamie threw back.
"I don't know and because you're my friend! I have a right to worry about you, even when I haven't seen you all day. I've gone over 120 years without seeing you; I could go another day. Now where were you?!" Drac demanded.
"I went out to see your dad! Sorry I didn't tell you, but I thought you didn't want to see me!" she yelled.
"Why did you need to see him?" he asked.
"You don't have to know," Jamie pointed out.
"Yes I do. Now why did you need to talk to him?" Drac repeated, his anger building.
"You wouldn't understand," she said and turned away from him, not affected by his anger.
"Then make me understand! WHY WERE YOU VISITING MY DAD?!" he shouted.
"BECAUSE I ZINGED WITH SOMEONE AND I NEEDED TO TALK WITH HIM ABOUT IT! THERE! YOU HAPPY NOW?!" Jamie exploded, turning back to him.
Drac was taken back by this. Jamie finally zinged with someone and she never told him? She went to the window, looking at all of Transylvania as he just watched her in shock.
"You...zinged with someone?" Drac asked.
Jamie sighed and answered, "Yeah."
"It finally happened," he commented.
"No. I...lied. I zinged with someone a long time ago. But he zinged with someone else," she told him.
"What? Why didn't you tell me that? I could've helped you through this time from not being with your zing," Drac pointed out, approaching her.
Jamie chuckled bitterly and turned to him, saying, "You don't get it, Drac. You never did...I zinged with you."
Drac's eyes went wide at that. This whole time, Jamie zinged with him?
"What?" he questioned.
"The first time I saw you, I felt something that I never felt before. I knew it was a zing because my only thought was to be with you. But then you met Martha and you two zinged," she started, ran her fingers through her hair with a sigh, then continued, "I decided to ignore my feelings so you two could be together because you guys were my friends and that mattered more to me than what I felt. Then I left because it became too painful to watch the one I fell in love with with someone else, even though I didn't know she died. But after coming here and seeing you, it's clear you don't feel the same towards me."
"Jamie, I—" Drac started.
"No, Drac. I think it would be best if I just left," Jamie decided then left the room.
Drac just sighed and left for his room.
