Chapter 7: A Plan

Once the vampires left, the others just looked at each other with smirks.

"I'm assuming we're all thinking the same thing," Frank said.

"Oh yeah. They definitely zinged," Mavis said then added, "I think Jamie zinged with my dad years ago, but she must've wanted my dad to be happy, whether he chose to be with her or not."

"That's exactly what happened. She told me how she did zing with Drac, but because Martha was a really good friend and how he was happy with her, she kept it to herself. She didn't want to ruin either friendship she had with them," Murray explained.

"Well, if Dad zinged with her, he won't admit it. He thinks that it's his fault Mom and Ericka died," Mavis replied.

"Well, we know that's not the case. There were things he couldn't help," Griffin pointed out.

"Yeah. I'm sure that once we get them together, he'll be more confident," Wayne said.

"Oh yeah. We need to get them together. But how?" Johnny wondered.

At that, Dennis and Winnie came running in.

"Mom! Dad! Papa Drac zinged with Jamie and Winnie and I know how to get them together!" Dennis said excitedly.

"What? Really? How?" Johnny asked with the same amount of excitement as his son.

"Guys! Hold on. I want them together as much as you do, but Jamie just got here," Mavis pointed out.

"But haven't you noticed how much happier he has been since she came?" Griffin pointed out.

"Well, yeah," Mavis answered.

"So we get them together and Papa Drac can be happy again," Dennis said.

"And 'Operation: Make Drac Happier' is just the way to do it," Winnie added, holding out a well-detailed plan on a huge piece of paper.

They all looked it over and smiled formed on their faces.

"This...could...work!" Johnny said dramatically.
