Kayla's Pov

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Ugh. Guess it's time to go to school now. Who even invented Mondays? I sigh and get up from the comfort of my bed and go downstairs to make myself some pancakes. Okay, so I bet you're wondering who the shell I am and other carp like that. Well my name is Kayla, my friends call me crybabyyy because I love Melanie Martinez and her songs. I go to school at Inkblot art academy, it's pretty nice when it's not getting covered in ink from turf wars.

I have a couple of friends too, like Luna and Star. I also ummmm have a crush which I have the typical schoolgirl crush on, I draw him and I get lost in his eyes and blush around him, stuff like that but the problem is....

We're just friends.

Nothing more

Nothing less.

Having a crush on your friend is really awkward, especially if you see each other on a daily basis, which we do. Pretty much the last thing I have to say is that it's our little band of misfits against the harsh world.

So here we all are now, walking down the maze of halls to our classes, with Luna and Star bickering to my left and a handsome and dreamy aloha on my righ-

"Hey Kayla what're you staring at~? Hmm?" Aloha's musical voice snaps me out of my daydreaming trance, and I blush and say, "N-nothing! Nothing at all!! Well except for..." I look around frantically for something to save me from embarrassment (aka my friends seeing me like this because they know about my crush and won't hesitate to tell him) and spot Rider looking grumpy while Goggles begs him for a piggyback ride.

"Goggles begging Rider for a piggyback ride oh my cod I feel so bad for him" I laughed. Aloha laughed too and walked over to them and stuck up a conversation. I exhaled, hoping that Aloha would forget that this ever happened.

"That was a close call hm?" I whirled around to be greeted by a smirking Star and a frowning Luna. "Seriously, you got to confess soon. That was the second time this week that happened. You gotta just go for it cmon!" Luna says. Yup, there's my straightforward friend.

"Luna you can't rush these things. You need to be a bit more patient." Mama Star says. (A/N haha this is so true I am the mom of all my friends) I exhale, thinking that I had someone on my side. "But she's partially correct Kayla, you being a bit too patient. Aloha isn't a bad looking guy, and there are a definitely a few gals out there who wouldn't hesitate to steal him from you. Just, keep that in mind okay?"

I sighed again and sat down in my seat. I sketched out an outline and drew the details filling that in and done! You see, sometimes i draw Aloha and I don't think I'm too good or too bad. (This was drawn by xx_crybabyyy_xx )
