The day wasn't going as bad as I thought it would, if I'm totally honest.
That is until lunch.
If I had just gone to the art room this whole thing would have been avoided but no. I can't seem to man up and tell the Omega no, so here I am. Surrounded by loud, obnoxious teenagers who, as of two days ago were far to popular to even see me in the hallway.
"And this bitch thought we had something going! Like, sure she was a good fuck so I hit it a couple times, but shit! I never once mentioned a date!" One of the guys on the far side of the table shouted. I think his name was Jackson.
"But still," Jungkook shook his head beside me. "You didn't have to be a total dick about it." The alpha said looking at his friend.
"Hey, not all of us are lucky enough to find our mates in high school, so let me live, would ya?" The loud alpha snapped back, trying to defend his actions.
"But dude, she literally ran away crying!" Some one else at the table chimmed in.
As the harmless arguing continued I just simply picked at my meal. All the loud shouting and talking is so different from what I'm used to, and I can't help but wish I was in the quiet art room. A small hand on my knee draws me from my thoughts.
"Hey, you good?" Jimin asked with concerned puppy eyes.
"Yeah. Just not hungry, I guess." I say with a shrug.
"Hmm," the Omega hums before pushing his tray and standing up, "me neither. How bout' a walk?"
This seemed to get Jungkook's attention because before I could say anything he was already talking.
"Wait, where are we going?" The alpha turned, looking between me and Jimin.
"Me and Tae were just going to go for a walk since we're done eating." Jimin said as he placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Alright, well I'm done too so-"
"Oh my fucking God, Jackson! You're literally stupid! Jungkook please tell him he's wrong!" One of the other boys at the table shouted cutting Jungkook off. I'm pretty sure his name is Mark.
"Jungkook, it's fine. Someone need to keep these idiots under control. You can stay here. I promise we won't go to far." Jimin told the alpha as he reached for his bag.
"But, Chim-"
"No buts mister!"
Jungkook sighs and look at me briefly before looking back at Jimin. "Fine, but if anything happens I better know about it."
He gives the Omega a look that I now know as their little weird-mind-talking thing look.
Jimin just giggles and grabs my hand pulling me to stand next to him.
"See ya, Kooks." Jimin cheerily said as he leaned down to kiss the alpha forehead, and with that we were out if the cafeteria.
"Jesus those guys get annoying sometimes." Jimin whined as soon as the door closed.
"Oh, so that's why you wanted to leave so bad?" I asked, flexing my eyebrows in question.
"Yes, but no." He started, "I also just wanted to spend time with you."
And if my heart wasn't already his since the first time I saw him then it would be now. The absolutely adorable little glint in his eyes with the way his full lips are ever so slightly curled up and his hair gently falling onto is forehead makes me feel so fucking lucky. My wolf's pride growing at all of this. If someone would have told me a month ago that park Jimin would be looking at me like this and saying how he wanted to spend time with me I would have laughed.
The smile that pulled on my lips was the most genuine one I've given in a while.
"Well in that case, where would you like to go?" I ask with a smile.
He paused for a second, thinking of where he actually wanted to go before letting out an gasp, "you take art classes right?" The smaller boy asked looking like an excited puppy.
"Yeah, but how did you know that?" I ask, shocked. I'd never told them about that.
"I saw you drawing on you notes the other and they were really good, so I just figured you did m, I guess." Jimin said with a shrug, as he started to walk down the hall. I followed behind him putting my hands in my pockets
"So, where are we going then?" I asked still confused.
"The art room! I want you see your work." Jimin turned with a that same excited puppy expression.
"O-oh umm," I'd never shown anyone my art work before, and I certainly wasn't planning on it anything soon. The thought of someone else seeing my work was honestly kinda scary."Sure, I guess the door should be unlocked."
But you know me. I can't say no to this little shit.
