what are we going to do

Who could shoot that mare?! I'm happy that atleast the little black foal is okay. I walk up to the foal and she neighs then let's me get closer. I start petting him and Dylan comes up from behind me. "oh my god.." said Dylan. "I know... what are we supposed to do" I said. " I think we should go and the foal will hopefully go back home or someone else will find it" said Dylan, "1 it's a girl Dylan and 2 I'm not leaving her here I am going to take her home".

So I looked for something I could tie to her neck and tie up to the quad and have her walk behind it. Dylan came up behind me and gave me a rope he had in his quad compartment. I smile at him and he smiles back. He helped me catch her and then we both got on our quads and we didn't say anything but we smiled at each other then went our separate ways. Me and the little foal went slow and on the ride she listened to me the entire time, I told her about where we're going and stuff like that. " I have to figure out a name for you" I said. I thought for a little and finally it came to me, "I'll name you Shadow!". I think Shadow liked it because she neighed.

When I got home I quietly went into the little shed that I used to play in when I was little before my dad and mom turned into terrible parents. I opened up the little sliding windows in the shed, "I'll be right back I'm gonna go get you some food" I said. I quietly slide the doors shut making sure Shadow doesn't get scared. I quietly went inside the house and looked in the pantry, from the fruit bowl I grabbed 2 apples and 3 carrots. I also grabbed a bowl and filled it with some oats.

I quietly went outside and opened up the shed I see Shadow lying on the ground. She sees the food I place on an old wooden children's table I have and she jumps up, I give her an apple and she whinnied with excitement.

*ring, ring, ring*

Me: hello

Dylan: hey it's Dylan

Me: I know..

Dylan: I'm sorry about earlier I just didn't know if we should take that foal or not. I thought it might be a bad idea.

Me: It's fine I was over dramatic. I named her Shadow.

Dylan: That's a nice name..it suits her.

Me: Yeah..

Dylan: I'm really bored.. could I come over and hang out ?

Me: sure. I don't know where my dad is but try to be quiet, were in the little shed.

Dylan: okay see you soon.

*phone call ends*

"Dylan is going to come see us" I said to Shadow. Shadow let out a whinny, I don't know if that was a good thing or she didn't want him to come.

*15 minutes later*

Dylan comes into the shed and sits down.

"hey" said Dylan

"hi so why did you wanna hang out ?"

"because I was bored, and I wanted to see you" said Dylan

"oh well I've just been sitting in here with shadow" I said.

"oh cool and I wanted to ask you something if that's alright" he said.

"what did you wanna ask me" I said.
