I KEEP FORGETTING! I aways tell myself "I'm gonna dedicate it to her", but I have a slight case of Alzehiemers. Pardon me xD I love you :33
It's up to you to make fiction a reality

It was the mid-summer time. Flowers blossomed, the sound of children's laughter echoed around the corners of every possible space.
The sun was shining rather brightly and the air smelled of the soft essence of coffee as people rushed off the work. People were meeting each other, smiling, talking, or simply enjoying the simplicity of a time of solitude and quiet.
One boy took note of all his surroundings as he quietly walked home to the house of his foster parents. He watched with greediness the happiness of families around him, wanting and needing the same feeling of love as they received.
His thoughts wandered off to the remnants of his young and delicate childhood days when he saw his mother's angelic face. He didn't remember when it was, where it was. But he only remembered her face, his father's laughter, the few words that were spoken and the light swooshing sound of the ocean behind them.
He remembered that day clearly as though it happened a few hours ago. Every little thing was etched into his mind and not a single detail was missed as he flew back to his past.
The smell of salt was strong and the breeze was slowly blowing wisps of his hair around his head. He was on a hunt for a shell that he could give to his mother. It was small thing, a shell. He knew that. But he knew his mother would always appreciate the smallest things in life and taught him never to let things pass him by so easily, because from every small thing, it would grow and turn into something beautiful and great.
He stepped carefully on the sand around him, his eyes searching slowly for his mother's gift. In the distance the sound of his parents' laughter erupted behind him and he turned his head slightly as his eyes remained on the sand. He listened as the wind brought the little whispers and laughter over to him. He smiled a toothy smile and at the same moment he saw something sticking out of the ground.
He bent down and plucked the material out of the ground. It was a shell that glowed a pearly white. There were five parallel orange-red lines that designed the outside portion of it. Its surface was smooth against his hands as he turned it over and over in his hands. He decided that he would give that to his mother.
She smiled as he made his way over to her. She was wrapped within the arms of her husband and they both watched as their tiny 4 year old son walked over to them. He brought the shell over to her and she took it in her hands along with his.
"Why did you bring this shell to me?" asked the boy's mother calmly.
"It looks pretty," said the boy with a cheeky smile.
"It is, thank you," she said as she patted the space between herself and her husband.
