Feral Pack

Day 2 End

They'd been crouched here for what seems like hours and Yoongi's hands and knees were starting to hurt from the rough ground. The bush they were in scrapped against his face, small bright green leaves tickling his cheeks. It also didn't help that Jungkook was overtop of him, his wolf body almost completely shielding him.

"What are we waiting for?" He grumbled up at the younger only for him to be pushed down further into the dirt, a rumble of annoyance coming from Jungkook's chest.

Since Jimin separated from them, Jungkook hasn't said a word to him. Even when he shifted, nothing, no warning. The only thing the boy has done was drag Yoongi over to a bush that was around a clearing and shoving him in before settling on top of him. At this point, Yoongi was bored and irritated, never a good combination.

"Jungkook," he spat out, "I swear to fucking god-" he just got growled at yet again, Jungkook's body resting almost completely on him at this point. Now, Yoongi is quite strong despite his thin frame, he is an alpha after all, but Jungkook is physical bigger, has more muscle mass compared to the older, and that weight was baring down straight on his back.

An uncomfortable and slightly pained moan left him, body pushing up to try and relieve some of the pressure. Yoongi felt the other's body stiffen against his own before the hairy mass just dropped on top of him, completely covering the smaller. Jungkook pulled his head back, unblocking Yoongi's own fluffy mint one, and putting his mouth around his pale neck.

The older froze, deja vu filled his system. The only difference is that this time, it's a sheer black wolf instead of the brown one from before. Jungkook's wolf is strikingly similar to Seokjin's in both color and size, but while Seokjin had bright rust eyes, Jungkook's were like looking up into the night sky, pitch black, yet still twinkling and so full of life. Not that he could see them at the moment as he was cheek to ground with the bigger wolf on top of him.

If he was irritated before it's nothing compared to what he's feeling now. Jungkook's younger than him and even with the one class he took, he knows that age is taken extremely seriously in wild packs, more so with the alphas in the group and here he was, just letting the pup of the pack push him around however he likes. That has to change now before he's killed for being a weak link.

With his body fully restrained, the only thing he could think of to do is to either endure it or try and hurt him. Yoongi thought about it for all of five seconds.

Headbutting the brat it is.

Just as he was about to twist his head for the attack, a large bush across the clearing rustled. Jungkook immediately perked up, ears high in alert as he flattened himself as much as he could to the ground with Yoongi underneath him.

The weight knocked the breath out of him, troubled gasped leaving his mouth. Jungkook didn't seem to notice, attention completely on the moving bush. A barely audible whine left him,  the younger really is quite a bit heavier than him. Jungkook quickly pushed his body up to hover over Yoongi, eyes still never leaving the shaking foliage. The mint haired male turned his head slightly so that he had a better view of the clearing.

A doe slowly made its way out from the bush, steps silent and careful. Yoongi's eyes widened when he felt Jungkook tense up as the doe walked around, stopping every few steps to lean down and eat some grass. He knew what was going to happen very soon and he's sick to his stomach. Fucking hell, he should have picked someone who wasn't on hunting duty.

He knew that animals were going to get killed, shit, he'd watched the other alpha that came in with him get slaughtered (grated he was an asshole and kinda deserved it for the way he degraded the pack) and barely flinched. Now, however, being in front of a helpless animal that has no idea that it's life it about to be brought to an end hurts. He'd never gone hunting with his father, only seeing the aftermath of his mother cooking it, so now, seeing the fragile creature, guilt fills his body.

"Jungkook," he whispered lightly, aware that if he scared off the deer he could very well be their next meal, "I don't think-"

The younger suddenly propelled himself forward, running full speed at the deer. The doe quickly spun around, jumping away into the surrounding brush, Jungkook close on its heels. Yoongi sat up on his knees, eyes wide as he watched Jungkook disappear into the surround woodland after it.

It was silent for a moment, not even the cicadas making noise at this point, before a pained, animalistic scream echoed throughout the wood. The young alpha covered his ears, eyes going glossy as tears gathered and threatened to spill over at the thought of what probably just happened.

Why am I acting like this? He thought to himself, even as he sniffles. Fucking pathetic. I have to alpha up.

"Pup." Gasping quietly, Yoongi quickly wiped his eyes and stood up, facing the younger male. Jungkook stood there, all in his naked glory, the deer laying dead on the ground behind him, a slight trail of blood running down from the corner of his mouth. "Okay?" For once, he didn't sound teasing or miserable, instead, he sounded rather...concerned?

"I'm fine, dumbass." Yoongi spat out, stepping out of the bush and into the clearing. "Why?"

Jungkook tilted his head, a thoughtful look crossing over his face, "Ah, smell s-sad." He stumbled over his words a bit, slurring them together, but not bad enough that Yoongi couldn't understand him. Clearly, Jungkook was also proud of himself for remembering the word 'sad' if the grin on his face said anything. "Want omega be no sad!"

"I'm not sad." The smaller growled under his breath, "Also, how many times do I have to say it? I'm not an omega!" The brunette just stared at him, a bunny-like smile still playing on his lips and eyes twinkling. He sighed, running his pale hand through mint hair, "Are we done?"

"Soon."
