WE DETECTED TWO NEW CONTACTS (DESIGNATE ECHO 1, ECHO 2) IN THE EL DORADO SYSTEM. PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS INDICATES ONE STALINGRAD CLASS FAST FACTORY SHIP (ECHO 1) AND 1 UNIDENTIFIED DESTROYER (ECHO 2). OWNERSHIP COULD NOT BE CONFIRMED BUT CONTACTS ARRIVED VIA EARTH EXPANSE SYSTEM AND ARE ASSUMED TO BE EEN VESSELS. WE BELIEVE THEIR PURPOSE IS TO ESTABLISH A FORWARD SUPPLY CATCHE IN THE SHALLOWS. Re: Destruction of UWS Tale of Two Cities
The recovery team has found a blackbox drone that was launched shortly before SC-93's destruction. The information pulled from it shows that the EEN destroyer launching a missile salvo at SC-93 unprovoked. SC-93 survived the initial strike with significant damage but was destroyed by subsequent mass driver rounds. This was after repeated attempts to surrender. While further analysis is needed, I can say with a great deal of confidence that the SC-93 was deliberately destroyed by an Earth Expanse Navy ship in an act of extreme aggression.

Re: EEN aggression
In recent weeks Earth Expanse forces have begun an unofficial campaign to destroy isolated Unity warships. In 11 incidents 3 Unity Navy units have been sunk. We believe this to be an attempt to force the Unity to declare war first in order to gain a diplomatic advantage. A new strategy is being devised to combat this but in the interim all commanders are to use extreme caution when EEN warships are encountered. The rules of engagement HAVE NOT been changed so I better not hear about any commanders opening fire unprovoked but do not hesitate to defend yourselves. As I said, We are working on a solution but I need all of you to stay safe and keep your head about you for now. I promise all of you that the EEN will not go unpunished.
