Eden: "shit we fell asleep," Lea said throwing the covers off of us, waking me up.

"Okay?" I said a little confused.

"My mom and dad are gonna think I was out with him!"

"Oh shit!"

"Drive me home please?" She asked.

Getting up dramatically I threw off the covers and walked toward the door.

"Get dressed first!" She laughed.

Ten minutes later we were all ready with our clothes changed, teeth brushed, and hair brushed. In the truck Lea leaned on me the whole time trying not to fall asleep. The drama the night before had sapped her energy. She was so cute though when she was tired and not talking all the time.

When we got to her house I pulled over and told her good-bye.

"Walk me in and meet my parents?" She asked.

"Uh sure," I said taken off guard. She's never asked me to come in before. It kinda felt like a next step.

"Yay!" She yelled all excited. It was so cute it killed me.

Walking up to the door she briefed me to just let her do the talking unless they ask me something. She wasn't even sure how this would go. Especially because she was supposed to be home last night after her date.

"Mom! Dad!" She yelled opening the door, "I'm home!"

"Honey where have you been?" Her father asked sternly walking into the hall we were in followed by her mother.

"Who's this?" Lillian, I believed her name was, asked noticing me.

"Dad I'm sorry I was only on the date for like ten minutes. It didn't go well so Eden came and picked me up. We fell asleep watching a movie." She said hugging him, "and mom this is Eden. She's the girl who lives in the woods."

"Sweetie just make sure next time you let us know," her mom said rubbing her back.

Lea's father was a tall man with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He wore glasses and was well shaven. Clancy his name was, was very nice and respectful. He treated his wife and daughter well but still had an old fashion outlook on life where the man should be the care giver of the house.

"I'm sorry I kept her so long mr. And Mrs. Riddler," I said speaking up, "it was my fault. I should have made her call."

"It's alright Eden. As long as she was safe with you then it's alright."

"Well mom, dad I'm going to catch up on sleep," Lea said, "and Eden text me."

After hugging Lea and shaking hands with her parents, I went home.

Meeting her parents was strange. I think they liked me and they seemed nice enough, but I doubted they would feel the same about me if they knew my feelings for her their daughter. I was falling hard.
