Three months later- Lea: Eden had been staying at the pack house full time now since she was alpha and I was spending most of my free time by her side. School had let out so my parents didn't mind. I had planned to move in with Eden completely after my senior year which felt like it couldn't come soon enough.
Whenever I was here, we spent our time in the woods, running as wolves. My fur was dark brown with lighter patches here and there. I was strong and agile. Eden liked to roughhouse with me to teach me techniques. Of course she was stronger being a purebred but I was quicker. Even though I was bitten, I seemed to be stronger and faster than the rest of the pack. Like Eden, I had an advantage. My mate explained that it was because, I too, was an alpha.
"I love you," Eden told me, the water from the shower soaking her hair. We had just gotten back from one of our many runs and I was leaning against the wall with her arms on each side of my head, supporting her weight.
"I love you too," I said, kissing her softly on the lips. The water ran down our faces.
"You're my mate," she smirked, breaking the kiss.
"I like the sound of that," I growled before pushing myself off the wall and pinning Eden to it.
Surprise showed in her grey eyes and at first she didn't know what to do but then she gave me a devilish grin. Before Eden could do anything though, I grabbed her arms and pinned them above her head.
"I'm in charge right now," I whispered in her ear as I kissed down her neck and pushed myself against her. She let out a quick breath before practically melting into me. In this moment we were one.
