Our chance to escape is coming...
Within the walls a secret to be revealed...
We were a family, together we were better...
No secrets kept between us, but now...
This was the time for us to take risks...
"It's located here." Emma said pointing to a drawn map or the house, "Next to Mom's bedroom. Mom's bedroom has a washroom next to it and next to that is Mom's office.""The distance probably isn't just a wall." I said.
"I noticed that every time Mom disappears..." Gilda noted, "She always goes into her office or the washroom."
"And so we measure the distance of the inside and hallway side of the room." Emma explained, "They didn't match. There's about ten steps' worth of space, one side is a wall and the other side is covered in bookshelves."
"We think there might be hidden doors on both sides." I elaborated, "On the other side, a secret room."
"But what for?" Don asked.
"Probably..." Emma started.
"For regular check-ins" Ray continued, "Mom checks in with the headquarters every day. The room is likely for that."
We girls had a look of apprehension exchanged between us, thinking that we had uncovered a mystery of the house.
"Headquarters?" Don asked.
"The /base/ that supplies babies and sisters to this house." Norman explained.
Don had a worried and surprised look on his face. All this information might be too much for him to process.
"Ray did you know?" Emma asked him, "That there was a room here?"
Ray denied, "Although I suspected that there must be a room like that somewhere."
"Let's try to get in." Don exclaimed, " There must be a way to communicate with the outside... and there might be a clue to where Conny and the others were sent."
"But what about the key?" Gilda questioned, "If it's a room that keeps secret, then it's probably locked."
"Norman can you open it?" Emma asked.
"Depends what kind of lock." Norman replied.
"Wait." I said.
"There's no advantage in doing all that." Ray continued, "Thee communication device is most likely only connected to the headquarters, and Mom doesn't know where our siblings were sent. There won't be any records or clues."
"And our tracking devices could show them that we're there." I pointed out, "We also don't know the kind of security the room has."
"It's too dangerous." Ray and I said at the same time.
"But!" Don tried to reason.
"I'm saying that the risk overwhelmingly outweighs the benefits." Ray stressed, "It's great that we know where it is, but... There's no need to overextend ourselves at this point."
Norman and Emma accepted the argument Ray and I made, while Gilda and Don were silent.
"Instead, we should be focused on something else." Ray directed.
With our current situation, we had enough time and Mother is somewhat distracted with false information.
"For now, you have to be really weary of sister Krone." Norman pointed out, "Don't dig your grave with foolish moves."
"Exactly." Ray agreed, "We're doomed if Mom or even sister Krone finds out about this, so make sure you keep that in mind before you act."
"Don't worry." Emma consoled, "You just have to act normal and you'll be fine."
