Truly, for someone to butt heads with someone superior in every way, shape, and form, then Life has it out for them, and Father Time and Mother Nature are teaming up for once to screw them over.
Yaoyoruzu never once thought of herself as unlucky until that day.
The day she challenged a villain for her and her class' freedom, and the villain beat her so thoroughly she had no choice but to realize; Life, Mother Nature, and Father Time all had it out for her. And she had run towards them open-armed while they stabbed her repeatedly in the stomach and left to her to bleed out and die.
That morning, there was food. They wanted her in top condition for this, not usually a good sign. It showed confidence on Deku's part, and she had been certain she would win this with her expertise with her weapons. After she'd eaten, Deku had appeared and let her out to follow him.
She was led to a room. "Create one weapon, Momo Yaoyoruzu." One? She focused and used her quirk to create a weapon, and a kpinga sprung forth. She'd trained with it enough to know it would do plenty of damage if thrown correctly, and rare enough that is was unlikely this villain knew what to do with it.
Momo looked up to gauge Deku's reaction to the weapon, but all she saw was him struggling with a knife, a fancy one.
He apparently went for looks.
This would be easy.
