4:12 p.m.
I saw his car from the window. Scott was still inside. By the way that he looked, I know that he’s completely bothered. I know him more than anyone.
“Cassey, what should I do?” I asked. She held my shoulders and said,
“Don’t say anything. Just let him talk and just talk once he’s finished. Mmkay?”
“Okay.” I murmured as I shed a tear. I know something bad is going to happen. Cassey hugged me. She knows how much I adore hugs and I needed one so bad right now.
“Thank you for everything. For always being there.” I whispered as tears rolled down my cheeks one by one.
She never said anything. She just tried to calm me by patting my back.
And after 10 minutes, Scott finally got out of the car, rang the doorbell and Cassey opened the door.
“Upstairs” Cassey said with a smile.
Scott smiled sheepishly and said, “Thanks”
When he finally got into the room, I stood up and looked at him. I didn’t say anything like what Cassey told me. Face to face, the air stood still.
