Author's Note: (Important to the storyline)

Hello dear readers, I just wanted to inform you beforehand that English isn't my native tongue, so I must have a lot of grammatical errors. Sorry about that in advance. Back to the story. Please remember that the story starts with Hermione being in the timeline of The Deathly Hallows. So she's 17 already. While Bella's timeline is at the start of Twilight. So that's 2005, and she's turning 17 also. That's all you have to remember, okay enough chitchat, I hope you enjoy the story.

Summary:

Hermione has been through the same things over and over again. She studies really hard, always helps her friends, battling against evil, always puts her loved ones first, so much responsibility for a 17-year-old girl. In spite of all that, her only escape to it all was reading. It was always enough for her to forget about all the things she has been through. and she thought that was it. That was all there was to life. But on the day before Bill and Fleur's wedding, she wakes up in the middle of an empty forest, unbeknownst to her that she had somehow ended up as a character in her beloved book which she also didn't know was a true story and is 8 years into the future. She ended up in Forks, the year 2005. And just like that, everything she knew about her fate has somehow changed.

Chapter 1: How to escape reality?

It was a typical Thursday night. They had all been getting ready for the wedding tomorrow. Hermione had just finished packing her small purple beaded handbag which had the undetectable extension charm on it. It held many of her possessions such as her wand, money, a few clothes, and more. She prepared it in case something unexpected comes up at the wedding tomorrow. After all, they were always on high alert since the return of the Dark Lord.

As she sat on her bed to rest, she suddenly wondered how her life would've been like if she never found out she was a witch. She sometimes daydreams about it. Her other life. When she thought she a normal girl, picturing her future was easy. Growing up, going to school, graduating, probably meeting the love of her life in the library. And getting married on a spring day. But her life wasn't that simple.

The day she got her letter on her 11th birthday, her parents were ecstatic. They had never in their life thought magic was possible. And as a professor from Hogwarts was explaining how things worked to Hermione's parents, they got more and more excited and couldn't hurry enough to send her to this school of witchcraft.

Hermione too was excited about all of it, it was very interesting to learn she had a gift not all possess. It was really the best birthday surprise she could receive that day.

But throughout the years in Hogwarts, she kept feeling that there was still something missing in her life. It confused her, she didn't know what else she was destined to do.

*thud* surprised by the sudden thump, Hermione's train of thoughts were cut-off, a glossy book had decided to fall off her shelf. Sighing in relief, she almost forgot about her most prized possession. Looking down at the book it had a picture of someone holding an apple, and simple word on it. "Twilight"

She remembered getting it for the first time, she never did find out who gave it to her, it was mysteriously laid on her bed one afternoon. With a small note with her name on it. She quickly adds it into her bag and puts it on her bed, just next to her in case she needed to grab it in a rush.

She lays down exhausted because of all the wedding preparations when she felt a small weight marking her chest. She slowly pulls at its golden chains till the pendant reveals itself. It was the "true time-turner." Its sparkling gold thread shining brightly and a clear hourglass in a starry gold plate with its rotating inner rings. Silently reading the inscription on it. "I mark the hours every one nor have I yet outrun the sun. My use and value unto you are gauged by what you have to do."
