Charlie immediately got out and ran to the girl.
As he got closer, he notices her gripping tightly on a piece of wood. He tried prying it from her but she didn't budge so he just left it alone.
"Is it glued to your hand or something."
Charlie asks hoping the girl would reply.
Seeing no sort of movements from her. He quickly checks for her breathing and her pulse.
Everything seemed to be normal, she had a pulse, her breathing is normal, but the problem is the girl is still unconscious and her head is now bleeding onto the asphalt.
"Dammit."
He gently picks her up careful he doesn't cause any more injuries and carries her towards his car. Charlie puts her at the front-seat and buckles her up.
"Where exactly did you come from?"
Charlie's worried thoughts slipping out. He had put his sheriff uniform at the back of her head to put a bit of pressure on the bleeding, deciding she needs to be stitched up immediately.
Judging by how far it will be to bring her to the hospital he speeds off towards his house instead.
Logically it was closer and he wants to secure the wounds right away. The unknown girl was passed out the whole ride.
It's Friday night.
Bella is preparing dinner at the kitchen when she hears the screeching brakes of her Dad's car outside.
It was unusual of him to be this early she thought
She paused everything she was doing and heads towards the door to greet her father.
Bella quickly opens the door just as Charlie was about to knock, surprising each other.
They look at each other with matching shocked faces but only for a moment.
"You're early"
Bella tells him as her face quickly turns from surprise to shock when she finally notices the girl in Charlie's arms.
Charlie didn't say anything, he seems to be really worried for the girl.
"Another animal attack?"
Bella wonders out loud as she quickly helps Charlie lay Hermione down on the couch.
She was really curious about the girl but she thought it wasn't exactly the right time to be asking a lot of questions.
"I accidentally hit her with my car," he frowns slightly as he remembers the damage he has done and walks towards the kitchen to get a basin and fills it with water
"I don't even know how it happened. There was this blinding light that hit my windshield,"
"Then a few moments later. she just appeared out of nowhere." he continued, returning with the water.
"I thought I'd bring her here to stop the bleeding." Charlie's words come out like rapid fire. She could feel how worried he was.
He wasn't usually like this she thought as she runs upstairs to the bathroom to get some supplies.
Bella returns with the medkit, and some face towels to clean the blood on the girl's face.
"As soon as I saw her she was already blacked out, I couldn't even ask for her name."
Charlie turns the girl on her side, carefully searching for where the blood was coming from at the back of the girl's head.
Which was a bit difficult since the girl had gorgeous amazing hair.
