"Good morning boys, how are my favorite twins?" From the groans that erupted out of them it seemed I was having a much happier morning than they were. "Are those your 'I was woken up to early for quidditch' groans or your 'I was up late planning a prank' groans?" I was answered once again with another groan. Though merely moments later my attention was turned to the screams of horror and laughter coming from the Slytherin table. It seems that someone brewed a potion to turn the young Draco Malfoy's hair Griffindor colors. Looking back at the twins their groans had now turned to snickering faces and a high five. "The latter then." They moved apart leaving space for me to sit between them, the moment I sat down they were both leaned against me ready to fall asleep once again.

I turned my head to George on my left and asked, "How long does the potion last?" He grumbled for a second before answering. "Two hours." I nodded before turning my head to Fred. "And how did you come up with this brilliant plan?" He snickered a bit before answering me. "It's the one thing he hates more than anything, plus we're going against Slytherin for quidditch this weekend." "Alright then." I turned my attention to my food as the two sleepy twins continued to use me as a human pillow.

Hermione turned to the three of us and our peculiar position. "Y/N how did you immediately know it was them and everything else?" "Well I-" I began to respond before I was cut off by Fred, "Shes in love with one of us-", who was then followed by George. "She just won't tell us who."

They were up to their usual antics but I decided to actually answer Hermione's question. "It's actually because I've known and stuck with them since we started here first year." Yet again I was followed up by Fred "And because you're in love with one of us." I wanted to say that maybe I was and see who reacted but it was too early in the morning for that sort of joking. But maybe it was true, maybe I did love one of them. "If anything I would expect one of you to be in love with me." I laughed, giving them both a slight shove, and continued eating my food as I assumed the boys went back to sleep after my remark. One had, the other pretended.

It was Friday afternoon and I was stuck in a tree. No idea how really, I was climbing while the boys skipped rocks and suddenly I was stuck. Maybe the school had another magical tree they just didn't tell us about. Or maybe I was too focused on George beating his brother at skipping rocks across the water. My two options to get down were to either admit defeat and ask the boys for help, or continue to struggle and probably hurt myself. The end result for both would probably be the same, both boys laughing at me and me being very embarrassed and cross.

During my time of debating to myself Fred had finally admitted defeat and looked in my direction in the tree. "Feeling a bit stuck there Y/N?" I decided that I would rather die than ask them for help in that very moment, Fred didn't need the satisfaction of being right. "No actually it's lovely up here you both should join me!" I was lying, it was cold and the sun was about to set, but if one of them or both of them got stuck as well it wouldn't be as embarrassing for me. "Actually Y/N I've got an essay due tomorrow but I'm sure George would love to join you!" Fred snickered and gave his brother a playful shove in my direction which earned Fred a very annoyed and flustered look from George.

After laughing at George's awkward way of climbing for a few minutes we had both settled into the tree. I had gotten myself unstuck and onto a more comfortable branch without hurting myself and George was on the branch next to me. "It's a great view from up here." This was the first thing George said after getting into a comfortable position on the branch next to me. "Yeah it's amazing." We sat in a comfortable silence after that just watching the water for a bit. The sun began to set and made the sky turn the most amazing colors.

"This would make an amazing date idea." I don't know what compelled me to say that but it happened. I think I heard George almost choke on his own spit out of surprise. "Y-yeah it would wouldn't it. Who would be with you on this date?" He seemed to go from shocked to sad while speaking and I wanted so badly to say that it would be him with me just like we are now. "I don't know, what about you? Who would you bring on a date like this?" I was looking at him and watching his face trying to see anything that could give me hope. He was silent for a moment like he was weighing his options in his mind. "You, I would take you." His head was turning to me now and I could tell by the look in his eyes that he was serious. "Why me?" I was surprised and very badly blushing. This seemed to good to be true so I needed a clear explanation to even be sure it was real.

"Because I like you, I have liked you since I met you." To say my heart was soaring would be an understatement. "Please say you like me too, or at least let me down easy." My mouth was apparently not working because I had somehow not responded with the screams of glee that were in my head. "Yes! Yes I like you too very very much!" Good to see I could handle myself without screaming delightedly. George and I were both smiling at each other, the sunset completely forgotten. I desperately wanted to hug him but quickly realized a very big hindrance between us. "We should probably get down from here." I was finally thinking straight and I think he was too as he nodded and began climbing down the tree a moment before I did.

George was on the ground before I was and honestly I'm not sure how I ever got up the tree in the first place the branches are so high up. "Hey George, it's a little high up here if I jump down will you catch me?" Part of me wanted this be romantic and the other part of me wanted this to be a safe way down without hurting myself. George was looking up at me from the ground, a smile on his face and his arms open ready to catch me. "I'll always catch you." I let out a small laugh and closed my eyes as I jumped down just to open them back up to George's smiling face with me in his arms. "Welcome back to the safe ground my damsel in distress." I laughed as he put me down and playfully shoved his arm once I stood back up. "I was not a damsel in distress." "Yes of course you're right, you had it totally in control when you were stuck in a tree earlier." "Oh shut up you goof." We both laughed at each other giving playful shoves every so often as we walked back to the castle hand in hand.
