Chapter 3 - A Childhood Friend

Jess dropped me home. "Jen, you should get some rest." "Yea i will,l thanks Jess." "no problem, i'll come over tomorrow morning." "okay"

I went back to my room and told my mom to let me get some sleep...

When i woke up it was 9:30 pm already. i went down to see if there's any felt overs for me while checking my Facebook. until i walk down the stairs and see Jared in my living room. 

"What are you doing here?!" "Jen, calm down! your mom let me in cause she told me your asleep and..." "NO! leave! i don't wanna hear any of your explaining! i'm not gonna forgive you anyway! just leave me alone!!!" "Jen, please listen to me!" "NO! LEAVE ME ALONE!" "JEN!" Jared Caught me from behind and hugged on my tightly. "LET GO! JARED! LET ME GO!" i struggle but he's just too strong. " Not until you listen to me!" "Jared your squishing me! let go! " Then he finally let go. " Just listen to me please!" " Jared... I WONT!" and i leave running out my house. 

I was luck he din't follow me, cause i couldn't have out run him. I went on a walk in the park near my house. looking at the night sky it was beautiful. I went and sat on a bench, and check my phone... 21 missed called from Jared and a text from Ash asking if i'm all right. Jess must have told Ash.

I stared walking back to my house, until a bunch of guys started to walk towards me. " Hey beautiful, what ya doing being so late out?" "..." i din't do anything cause i can't do anything until they stared to get closer, i screamed " HELP!!!" and a guy with a hoodie took a stick and hit them at the head. He pulled my hand and we run as fast as we could. until they where out of our sight. 

"OMG... thank you! you saved me there!" "nah, it's no problem!" "really, i should repay you with a cup of coffee sometime." "sure, i don't mind getting free coffee." "hahaha, so what's your name? i'm Jen" i still couldn't see his face cause of his hoodie. He keeps looking down. "Oh, I'm Ricky. Nice to meet you Jen. I'm new here, i was having a walk to look around the neighbour hood until i saw you being bullied by some guys back there." "Oh, give me your number so i could thank you with some coffee later sometime." "Sure"

we exchanged numbers and he walked me home. He said he will be going to our school.

"Thanks for walking me home." "nah, it's not a problem. my house is just 2 blocks down. i think we'll see each other alot." he took of his hoodie and  smile :) i smiled back and went back in my house. He look so familiar, never mind but for now i'm glad that Jared din't stay at my house and waited for me too come back. i still can't believe why he did that? how could he? i love him so much! i was already 12am i should go to sleep, i went back in my room and immediately fell asleep.

Jess came over my house, "Hi, Jen you all right?" "Jess, thanks for everything." "no problem, babe." and gave me a wink. we din't talk much, but just enjoyed the movies. Jess and i watch movies the whloe day, until we fell  asleep on the couch.

"Jen.... Jen...." "OMGaw what?"i said in a sleepy toned voice "Jen... Jen...." OMG what are you doing, Jess!" "trying to make you wake up duh?i'm all ready and school in gonna start in 10 mins! you better get ready!" "what?! why din't you wake me up earlier!?" "cause you was so cute sleeping, hahaha" i ran up stairs and change my cloths. then went to the toilet to brush my teeth and wash my face, i've put my hair up in to a pony tail so it would get out of my face.

Jess, drove me to school. On our way, i saw Ricky at the bus stop. "Jess, stop the car!" "okay..." i shouted to Ricky, waving at him. "Hey, Ricky over here! need a ride to school?" "nah, it's not necessary, i'll just wait for the bus." "Nah! it's fine, come on." Ricky climbed in to the car and we drove to school.

"Hey, Ricky we're are ya from?" Jess ask but her eyes still glued to the road. "I'm from San Fransisco. I live here in Florida when i was 8, but my parents got divorce and i followed my mother to San Fransisco. Now me and my mom moved here." Omg he's so familiarly! he's my Best Friend Ricky when i was little! "RICKY!!! OMG YOUR RICKY!" " Finally, now you remember me?" "why din't you tell me earlier?!" " cause i was scared you din't remember me and you'll think i was wacko for asking you..." "Ricky? really? wacko? you're still the same Ricky i knew years ago!" i jumped in to the back seat and gave Ricky a big hug. 

We reached school, Jess found a place to park and we got off the car. we was already late, but we din't care. I walk to my History class with Jess, while Ricky went to the Principle Office to ask what class he was. New kid being late...

I went in to history class and our history teacher look at us while me and Jess walked in. Jess sat with Dave and the only seat in the class left is next to Jared. i took my seat next to Jared but he din't say anything. he was concentrating on our history teacher. Until he decided to pass me a note. i din't even read it and i just threw it away. He look at me with a " why ya do that for"  face and i focus on our teacher... he din't do anything but just started to scribble on his note book. 

Until class was over, i took my bag and walk over to Jess, but before i could walk up to her,Jared had to talk to me again. "Jen, please just listen.it's not what you think..." "Jared, i told you a million times, No. Leave me alone!" "Jen, Please! your misunderstanding...""Jared..." before i could finish, Jess came and pulled me away from Jared. "Jared leave her alone! She already said no! if you really regret, you shouln't have do it in the first place!" "But, it's not like that..." before he could finish Jess walked off pulling me with her.

"Jen, don't fall for it. He cheated once we will do it again." "Thanks Jess."
