People often ask me, "what does poetry mean to you?" I just stare blankly into oblivion trying to find the right words but in vain.
Poetry is an emotion.
Poetry is feelings conveyed through words.
Happiness, sadness, bitterness ooze out from the soul as a cascade of words.
Poetry cleanse the soul.
Poetry is acknowledging the beauty in everything surrounding us.
It does not matter if it is living or not.
It does not matter if it has a face or a name.
Poetry is purity.
Poetry is seeing the world with the heart.
