As he watched her in despise
He could not hear any more lies.
His raging eyes piercing through her soul.
She did not know how to convince him anymore
That she was still that sweet haven he was seeking
But she knew demons we were lurking in the shadows
Ready to pounce on him
She kept silent to silence her demons
