Narrator's POV
The girls and of course the heartthrob, Tristan, all walked into Posh and straight to the VIP zone.
There wasn't a single head that didn't turn to look at them.As soon as Stella stepped inside she was swooped into someone's arm and her feet were off the ground. Of course it's Zach.
Out of the corner of his eye, Noah noticed the look of rage on Tristan's face, as though someone stole his girl.
"Well well, we know that you guys already know each other, but how?" Said Tristan to Zach.
"Oh it's um nothing, school. That's about it." Said Zach who was avoiding eye contact.
"It's not nothing, I'll do the part of explaining! Zach my friend had a crush on Stella, he confessed and that was the last time he ever saw her!" Explained Jayson.
The whole group was laughing heartily and that's when Tristan took a glance at Stella. If I hadn't known better, I'd say he was in love with her, but come on, everyone knows he doesn't do love he just makes love.
The group was sitting and talking when Stella got up and told everyone that she was heading for the dance floor.
Zach too went with her and soon they were all dancing and drinking.
Zach asked Stella for a dance to which she agreed.
This didn't go well with Tristan, because the next thing he did was kiss the girl who was dancing next him. He hadn't even seen her earlier. This made Noah and Jayson a little uncomfortable. They hadn't seen their best friend being so impulsive in a long long time.
What really was going on in Tristan's mind? Time will tell.
Stella on the other hand was dancing like no one was watching, but on the contrary each and every person present there was wondering who was this angel!
Stella's POV
I finally feel alive. The music, the atmosphere, this is what I live for.
I'm finally feeling like I belong here, and it's not even been 24 hours yet.
Zach's a good person, I hope we turn out to be good friends.
I was dancing with Zach when suddenly I was spun around and I landed in someone else's arms; Tristan's.He had his arms around my waist and all I could do was stare deep into his eyes. Ah, those ocean eyes!
It wasn't until Jay called me that I realised the closeness of our proximity.
I jerked away and went to get a few more drinks. I needed them to even come around what I was feeling. Why did it feel so good? It wasn't supposed to.
"Hey girl, what was going on back there?" Asked Kiara.
"A mistake which wouldn't be repeated. That's it." I said.
"I doubt that Stella. I honestly doubt that."
Now before I could say anything else to her she walked away and was deep within the crowd. Why does he, why does he remind me of him?
I need to stay away from him otherwise I'm going to make some decisions which I'll regret."A dance my lady?" The guy whom I was planning to avoid asked.
"I'm not in the mood. You can ask someone else, i'm sure they'll agree."
"Just once dance Stella, I promise I'm an angel."
"Even Satan was an angel before his wings got cut."
"Are you saying I'm Satan?"
"Of course not, that's me! I'm just telling you that no one's an angel!
"You sure about that? Cause I see an angel standing right in front of me."
"Keep the compliments going and I'm sure you'll go ahead in life!"
I order 4 more Vodka shots for myself cause there's no way sober me can continue this conversation.
"Stella, slow down. Don't you think that's enough for the night?" Tristan says with what I see is a little concern on his face.
"The night is still young Tris, let's go dance!"
"Did you just call meTris?"
"Maybe? I don't know. Remember whatever I say right now isn't on me. It's the alcohol!"
"Are you drunk?" He asks.
"Define drunk."
"Lose your senses I'm guessing."
"Nope, there's not enough alcohol to make me lose my senses." I say and walk back to the booth where our group was sitting.
"Stella!"
"Emilyyyy"
"Why are you sitting here?"
"I'm tired and I'm getting bored now."
"And you're drunk as well"
"Nah, that's not true."
"It is Stella. I think you should go home. I'll tell Tristan to take you."
"Nooooooooo! I'll go myself. I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself." I say while standing but I lose my balance. I brace myself for the fall, but I don't reach the ground! I open my eyes to see Tristan holding me closely with a cocky smirk covering his features.
"Let's take you home sugar."
And with that he picks me up bridal style and takes me back to his car.
Once I'm seated, I find it difficult to keep my eyes open so I decide to close them for a bit.
------------------------Tristan's POV
She fell asleep as soon as she was seated. she looked so cute.
I hadn't started driving yet, I was just looking at her face recalling the whole day.
Embracing her in my arms twice to dancing with her.
This was a very interesting day.
My phone rang and I saw the caller id, it was Noah.
"Where are you? We can't find Stella."
"Calm down. She's with me, I'm taking her home."
"You're taking her home?"
"Hold your horses Noah, she's passed out."
"Ah, I'd say I feel bad for you Tristan. But truth is that I don't."
"Whatever man. See you tomorrow."
"Yeah see ya."
I cut the call and look at the sleeping beauty next to me. She's still completely asleep.
I wonder what she's been thinking about the whole day. What goes on that head of hers?
But most importantly, I'm wondering if she feels what I feel when we come in contact!I look at her once more before I turn the key and the engine roars to life. The drive back home isn't too short and it gives me time to process exactly what's been happening.
Finally I come to the conclusion that it's attraction, it has to be.I parked in Stella's driveway and then went around the car to wake her up.
I opened the door of her side and gently touched her arm, "Stell...".
I couldn't find it in me to wake her up when she looked so peaceful.
So for the second time today, I picked her up and rung the bell. The door to the house opened immediately and I was guided to her room.I placed her on the bed as though she was the most fragile thing on Earth and put the comforters over her.
There's something about her, something, I thought to myself.
I looked around, and what I noticed next really excited me. Her balcony was right in front of mine. Maybe I could come over someday. Though it may be kind of difficult, the houses here are huge and have massive lawns between them, and I am pretty sure the whole premises of her house would have cameras. At least her windows face mine, and the best part, they are french windows which means I can see her whole room if the curtains aren't drawn.Stella's room has been decorated so well, it is complimentary to her aura. Equal parts classy and equal parts regal, so open that you can see everything yet with a touch of mystery, I thought to myself. Her room looks a lot like mine considering the styling of the furniture and the the chandeliers, except for the colour scheme of course. Her's is in shades of beige and white while mine is considerably darker.
I saw pictures on the wall and I must admit, young Stella was even cuter than adult Stella. She looks like a little bundle of joy spreading warmth everywhere in all those pictures. There's even a picture of her eating chocolate with loads of it smothered all around her face and blotches of chocolate on her frock as well. Though the picture looks pretty old I still can't bring myself to believe that this sophisticated and posh girl was so carefree back in time.
Honestly, if I had a heart, it would have melted seeing these pictures.
As I was walking out I took my time to look around and found the interiors very impressive. Everything was so sophisticated and placed at the right spot. Not a single piece of art or show piece was out of place, which made it seem like those pieces were made to be kept in exactly that spot. There was a lot of paintings on the walls and were extremely impressive, I couldn't recognize the name of the painter from the sign though.
I then went back to the entrance to leave when a woman looking in her late fifties stopped me.
"Hello sir, thank you for getting Miss Stella back home."
"It's not a problem at all, I live next door." I said. "Yes I know, I have worked in this house for years now, even when Miss Stella or Mr salvatore are not here I live here only. I have seen you a lot of times."I smiled and bid goodbye and left for my house.
I was in my room, when I realised something. Her house looked perfect, just like her and was filled with staff to fulfill all her needs.
But one thing stuck to my mind and that was that there was not even a single family member in that house, just like mine.
