It's happening

So it's been about a month since Shane came over I kinda just stay in my room. Mama walked in with a plate of chicken and mashed potatoes.

"Here baby you need to eat something you haven't eaten all day "

"I'm not hungry mama"

"Sis please I'm worried about you"

"You have every right" I said referring to the Shane thing .she hugged me

"I know baby... I think the thing with Rick really opened is eyes and I ain't sticking up for him by any means you know that right sis"

"Yea mama I know"

"Ok baby I leave this here just eat a little please " she sat on my night stand and walked out.

Maybe she's right I looked at my Phone I got a text from my brother Jimmy, he just a couple years older than me comes every summer to visit dad he has a girlfriend named Beth she awesome

"Hey sis"

"Hey bubba"

"Did you here about the crazy stuff going on in the city"

"No... what's going on?"

"It's probably just some kinda of sickness I'm sure it's nothing he I got to go tell everyone I love em you too" he sound more like he's trying to convince himself and not me

"ok I will love you too "

Well that was random. I heard the door open.

"Hey Jen?" Dad said walking in

"Yea babe"

"I think I need to go to the E.R." I walked out of my room

"What's wrong daddy" I said .

"Some guy bit me. I think he was on drugs"

"Here I drive. Rhiannon look the door and don't let anyone in ok?"

"Okay mama... oh Jimmy said he loved you guys" they smiled and walked out.

It's been a couple of hours since they left I'm starting to get worried I looked out the window people are chasing each other and I swar I see smoke down over the hill.

There was a knock at the door.

"Rhiannon I need you to open the door it's dad" It's shane -_-

But being as scared as I was I opened it.

"Shane I don't know where mama and dad went I'm scared"

"They told me to come get you they'll meet us at the safe spot in Atlanta" if they told him to come get me it's bad.

"Okay" he came in to the kitchen and grab all the food in it.

"Go grab some clothes and stuff "I did I shoved my phone charger my cross necklace daddy got me and some other things. "Ok ready" I shook my head .

We got in his car. Aunt Lori was in the fount seat Carl was in the back with me he seam to be crying. Something I learned is pointless.

As I looked out the window I see more people eat each other I didn't even hear the scream come from lips.

"Don't look at the window baby girl" I feel a hand on my leg I look up to see Lori tryto comfort me.

"I want my mama" I started Hyperventilating

"Shh it's ok Breath sweetheart" I felt as pull of the side of the road.

"Hey got you" Shane pulled me to the front and held me I welcome his touch for once.

"I can't breathe I want mama"

"Here she has her cell I'll try it" he grabbed his phone "here baby girl she on the phone"

"Mama?"

"Hey baby listen I need you to be a good girl for your dad and remember I love you ok" I could here the tears in voice

"Mama I can't breathe"

"Shh you can just think of something a safe place ok I love you babe daddy says he loves you too okay I have to go i love you soo much"

"I love you too mama I love you too daddy " then the line disconnected. Shane wraped his arm around me and pulled me close and we drove I'll never forget those screams those desperate eyes of those people I closed my eyes. I knew my mom and dad were dead I felt numb as if I wasn't even in my own body. I just layed my head on Shane's shoulder I felt Loris eyes on me.

The city was over run by the things we now call walkers we know to shoot them in the head. along with the for of us that there's a whole group of people. Jim ,Dale ,Glenn, Amy,Andrea, Sophia, Carol, Ed, jacqil , t-dog, Daryl, and Merle. It's been about a week. I dont sleep I've seen more walkers in my life time then Leon S. Kennedy did on his first day as a police officer. (A.N if you get that I love you :). I'm the only "kid " aloud to go by myself anywhere because if I didn't I'd go hay wire I don't like crowds and I know how to shoot, daddy show me how I killed my first 10 point buck when I was 11.

I was siting by the lake my feet in the water gun and knife in my wast ban. It was so pretty out to day. When a deer came up to me wired I picked up some weeds.

"Here little guy" he was a little one 4 points. He came up to me slowly I reached my hand out and gently eat it out of my hand. He must have been someone's pet. I let him eat a little. Gently grabbed my knife "sorry little guy" he fell to the ground I slit his throat.

Almost up the hill I was dragging the deer u back to camp when Daryl came.

"You kill that"

"Yea "I said out of breath

"Here" picked it up over his shoulders

"Thanks" I said

"No problem" Daryl can be a pain in the ass but we get along really good.

We finally got to camp and he dropped it.

"Holy shit did you kill this" Andrea said to Daryl

"Nope my little buddy did "he messed up my rated up hair.

"You did" Shane looked at me.

"Yea he came right to me i fed him some grass he ate it out of my hands I slit is throat and dragged him up the hill "

Everyone but Daryl and Dale looked me in honor like how could a little girl do that.

I rolled eyes and walked to my tent. I didn't want to share one with Shane hell there was days I didn't want to come out at all. I sat there a pulled put my copy of the walk by Stephen King it a way I see life like this book you stop walking you die simple as that. I heard my tent being unzipped.

"I want to be alone"

"It's me" Amy said

"Hey" I said unzipping it the rest of the way.

"That was really nice of you "

"Thanks ... everyone looked at me like I'm blood hungry it's not like I enjoyed doing it" we heard the laughter of Carl and Sophia. God I can't even remember what it's like to laugh and play they where just a year younger than me but I didn't like to laugh that ment faking being happy and I don't fake anything.

Amy smiled at me "It'll be ok I'll come get you when the foods done.
