"Mel!"

I groaned and rolled over, burying my face into my pillow.

"Melody Park! You're gonna be late!"

"What?" I asked, rolling back over.

Jisung looked down at me and sighed. "You've got a date, remember?"

What date? Last time I checked, no guy was interested in me. That's kinda sad, now that I think about it. Oh well.

"What do you mean," I asked Jisung, rubbing the sleep out of my swollen eyes.

He sat down on my floor and started slapping my bed. "Your date with Doyoung. Woah, repetition!"

"Not repetition, dummy," I corrected, "It's alliteration." Then I realized what he said before that. I sat straight up. Jisung fell backwards, surprised by my sudden action.

"What time is it?" I asked, dreading the answer.

"Uh...,"Jisung looked at his phone in his giant hands. "Oh, it's ten thirty seven. And he'll be here at eleven. How do you even sleep this much? It's not like it's beauty sleep."

I gasped when I heard Jisung's answer. Well, both parts of it. Aw poopers. I hardly have any time. I jumped out of bed and ran to my closet, pulling out the first decent things I could find.

I admit, it's not very stylish, but it was the best thing I could come up with. While I was studying my outfit, I noticed my face. I have to fix that for sure. I sat down at my desk and slapped on some mascara and lip tint. That should do for today with my limited time. Actually, I look kind of dead. A little blush should fix that. Not really, but it'll have to do.

I ran out of my room and checked my phone. It read ten fifty two. How did that much time pass already? I decided there was no time for breakfast so I rushed into the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth. As I was exiting the bathroom, I grabbed my hairbrush and a hair tie and ran downstairs, brushing my hair on the way. I ran into the kitchen as I heard the doorbell ring. I snatched a bagel and ran back to the front door.

I opened the door and immediately felt ashamed of my bland outfit choice when I saw Doyoung. Do high school students even dress like this? (A/N: Just pretend he's a high school senior.)
