When we got to the Mikaelson Manson, a big wooden ramp was on top of the staircase. I looked at Nik in confusion, "Did you have someone install ramps around the house?" Nik just smiled and kissed my forehead. I took that as a yes and smiled a little as Nik lead me into the house by using the ramp. He shut the door and placed the keys in the glass bowl on the table by the front door. I unzipped my jacket and started taking off my jacket when Nik placed his hand on my shoulder, making me look up at him, "What is it, Nik?"
"Let me do it, Drew." I nodded and let go of my jacket, relaxing my muscles. Nik had his usual devilish smirk on his face as he slowly took off my jacket. I looked up at Nik and slightly blushed when I saw his infamous smirk. "Nik, I know what you are thinking and I want to, really, just not right now." Nik's face softened and rubbed his thumb against my cheek slowly as he looked deep into my eyes, "Of course, my love. I can wait, there's no need to rush. We have all the time in the world."
I smiled as I held Nik's thumb and lightly kiss it, "Thank you, Nik." I looked around the entrance hallway as Nik took my jacket for me, hung it up on the coat rack, and gently kissed the back of my head, and when he pulled his lips away from my head ever so slightly that I could still feel his lips on my head as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders. I smiled and started playing with his fingers a little. I rubbed my left arm a little, just to hiss in pain.
Nik quickly moved to be in front of me and gently held my face with concern and worry on his face, "What's wrong love?" I straightened my arm out to find a giant bruise just below my sleeve, which I landed on when I was in the shower. Nik ever so slightly, touched the giant bruise, making me which in pain in return. Nik quickly pulled away but was still holding my hand, "What happened? Did someone hurt you? If so, tell me and I will take care of that monster that-" "No one hurt me, Nik." I cut him off quickly, placing both hands on his face, lightly rubbing his cheekbones,
"I was taking a shower when I started having this massive headache and during the headache, I was getting these visions." Nik looked at me, confused, "What kind of visions, love?" I ran my fingers through my hair, sighing, "There were of you and a girl, I think her name is Sophie. Anyway, she was casting this spell on your necklace and ring. Then the last vision was of you looking up at the night sky, then I heard someone say, "Fi-" "Find me, my love."
I nodded, smiling, "I should have known really." Nik smiled, then unbuckled my waist and my ankle straps. "What are you doing, Nik?" Nik just smiled, stood me up, tucked an arm under my legs just at the knee, and support my back with his other arm as he lifts me in the air. I squealed as he lifted me in his arms, making him chuckle at my reaction. I rolled my eyes at him as he walked into the living room and sat me on the couch. I smiled a little as Nik walked into the kitchen and grabbed something.
He came back with a wooden chair in his hand. He placed the chair in front of me and sat down, taking my hand in his again. I smiled as Nik got closer to me, "Love, there's something I want us to try." I raised an eyebrow in confusion, "What is it, Nik?" Nik sighed and ran his fingers through his hair before continuing, "It's called blood sharing. It's kinda a big deal for vampires or werewolves and their mates. It's one of the many ways how we show our love to our mates."
I nodded, placing my hand on his other hand, "I understand and I would like to do that, Nik." I shifted myself forward toward Nik, then pulled up my hair into a short ponytail and tilted my head to the left, exposing my neck to Nik. Nik smiled a little and pulled out a pocketknife from his left pocket. I raised an eyebrow as he pulled the blade out, "What are you do-" I was cut off by Nik's index finger pressing against my lips as he just smiled, pressed the blade against his neck, and sliced his neck in a clean cut. I stared at him, wide-eyed as he gently guided my head toward his neck.
I knew that he will heal quickly so I started sucking his blood as I could feel his fangs slowly pierce through my skin. I gasped in surprise, but I soon moaned in pleasure. I always thought if a vampire bites you, it would hurt but then again, I am Nik's mate so I would feel pleasure instead of pain. I felt Nik moan against my skin as he sucked my blood, making me shiver a little.
After two more gulps of each other's blood, Nik slowly pulled his fangs out of my neck and I pulled away from his neck, small drops of blood were running down from the left corner of our mouths. I placed my hand on my neck to feel the bite marks, but I didn't feel anything. Then I remembered that I drank Nik's blood so that would heal me up quicker. I could feel some of Nik's blood slowly rolling down to my chin so I caught it with my thumb and pushed it up to my lips, sucking the blood of my thumb, while staring at Nik. Nik smirked and did the same thing but it was way sexier than the way I was doing it. I softly bit my bottom lip when he wasn't looking at me as I felt myself getting a little wet from the sight of him.
I quickly looked away when his eyes met mine, blushing red as a rose. My stomach growled, making both of us laugh. Nik got up and held out his hands toward me, "Come on, my love. Let's get you something to eat." I smiled and grabbed his hands. Nik used his super-speed and his super strength to pull me into his arms with his left arm around my waist. When my face was just inches away from his, I could only stare into his ocean blue eyes as he walked into the kitchen. He sat me down in one of the chairs in front of the island and started cooking lunch for both of us.
