After we had our lunch, which was a New York strip with mashed potatoes and green beans, and Nik did the dishes, he moved my wheelchair into the kitchen and helped me into it. I buckled myself as Nik's phone rang, letting him know that someone is calling him. He pulled out his phone from the right front pocket of his black jeans and looked at who was calling him, "Excuse me, love. I have to take this." I smiled at him and kissed his cheek, "Go ahead, Klaus. I'll just be in the library if you need me, okay?" He nodded, smiling back at me, and kissed my cheek in return, before going into the living room to talk to whoever was on the other end of the call. After I was done buckling my seatbelt, I started rolling to the library and was about to roll into it, but immediately stopped when I felt this pure anger pulse throughout my body.
At first, I was confused at the fact that I was feeling this pure anger but soon realized that it was Nik feeling angry about the phone call. I quickly rolled to the living room just to see Nik storm out of the living room into the lounge room. I quickly rolled into the lounge room right behind him, "Nik, what's wrong? What happened?" Nik shook his head as he sat down at the table, almost throwing his phone on the table as he tried to calm down, "No, everything is alright. There is nothing you need to worry about."
I parked next to Nik at the table, placing my hand on his hand, lightly rubbing my thumb on the back of his hand, "I know you are lying, Nik. I can feel the anger that you are feeling running through my whole body and I know that it has something to do with Marcel and New Orleans." He nodded, still trying to calm down, making me nod as well, "I know that you probably need to be alone right now, so I am going to leave you alone, but just so you know, I am right here if you ever want to talk, okay?"
He nodded, looking at the table, which made me nod, kissed the back of his hand, and started backing away from the table, but Nik quickly grabbed my right hand, pulled me towards him while I am still in my wheelchair, and wrapped his arms around my torso, burying his cheek over my heart, "Thank you, my love, but what I need right now is you in my arms." He muttered out. My lips lifted into a small sad smile as I softly wrapped my arms around his head, lightly combing my fingers through his dirty blonde hair, "I am glad you trust me, Nik. It means a lot to me. I will be here, there, or anywhere for you, Nik, Always and Forever."
