I'll Help You | Colby Brock

Chapter 5

After about 5 minutes of figuring out the details to our plan, it was time to put it into action. We decided to record it since, well you know why. Once we finally stopped laughing we all started aggressively moaning. We didn't know what everyone downstairs was thinking, but we hoped it was working.

Colby's POV
Once we got back from eating, Devyn and Alisha disappeared. I was honestly really happy that Alisha is getting more comfortable with the traphouse. It was great. The guys and I decided we were gonna play fortnite. Sam eventually got home with Katrina and he joined us as Katrina went to join Devyn and Alisha.

After about an hour, he started hearing noises from upstairs. We didn't think much of it. Until it got louder, and we realized what it was.
"Uh guys" Jake said, pausing the game.
"They're pranking us right?" Corey said with worry in his voice.
"They have to be. I know Kat and she wouldn't cheat on me" Sam said with a hint of worry in his eyes
"Only one way to find out" Corey said as he started storming up the stairs as the rest of us followed. We got to the door and we were still unsure.
"Here goes nothing" Corey sais slowly opening the door and walking in. That's when everything stopped and we heard laughter.
"God dang it you guys scared us" Sam said with a look of relief.
"Aw I'm sorry baby" Katrina said as she got up and kissed him.
"We knew you were pranking us" Corey said as he walked over to Devyn.
"Then why'd you look so relieved when you walked in?"Alisha said smirking.
"We had a hint of doubt" I said laughing.
"A hint? Corey looked like he was gonna kill someone" Jake said pointing at him.
"Hey Jake" Corey said walking over to him.
"What?" Jake said still laughing.
"Shut up" Corey said as he smacked him over the head.
"Ow fine I'm sorry" Jake pouted.
"Well it's getting late and I work tomorrow. Colby would you mind giving me a ride home?"Alisha asked while collecting her things.
"Yeah sure you ready?"
"Yep" she said popping the P.

We walked downstairs and I could help but smile.
"Why are you smiling?" Alisha asked.
"Because. You, Kat and Devyn and really bonding and I guess it just makes me happy. It's not much but it's still progress isn't it?" I said still smiling.
"Yeah I guess you're right" She said smiling back. She really does a have a beautiful smile.

We got in the car and I drove her back to her dorm. During the car ride we just argued about if water is wet or not. We decided to put that hold for now.

She got out of the car and waved.
"I'll see you soon?" She questioned.
"Of course silly" I said and she shut the door.

As she walked away I couldn't but feel a bit sad that she left. But I'll see her soon right?

Alisha's POV

I walked into my dorm to see Gracie and someone else I don't recognize.
"Alisha, this is Matea. She's our new roommate. She got here yesterday but you weren't here so" Gracie said as I waved at Matea.
"Oh well hi! And sorry I spent the night at friends" I said while getting a bottle of water.
"Someone else is supposed to get here tomorrow but for all we know they might not" Gracie said shrugging.
"Ok but I'll be at work. And it was nice meaning you but I have to wake up early tomorrow and I'm pretty tired" I said as I walked to mine and Gracie's shared room.
"Ok goodnight" They both said as they continued their conversation. 

I got into some pyjamas and hopped into bed.
I was actually happy. I had friends now. Tonight was the first night in a long time that I went to bed genuinely happy.

*skip to the next day*
*beep* *beep* *beep*
I woke up to my alarm at 8:00 a.m considering I needed to be at work for 9. I turned off my alarm and went to go take a shower. When I got out, I changed into some black ripped skinny jeans and black and white striped t-shirt. I slipped on my vans and went into the small kitchen we had in our dorm to eat breakfast. I finished my bowl of cereal at around 8:45 and left for work. When I got there, I was greeted by a few of my coworkers.
