"SLOW DOWN DUSTIN!" Frankie called out to the younger boy as he rushed out of her car. Quickly following after him, she finally caught up to the fourteen year old as he reached the entrance of Starcourt. He was buzzing with excitement to finally see Steve after their long month apart. Frankie just rolled her eyes halfheartedly at his enthusiasm.

"Would you calm down? You weren't even this excited to see me."

"I lifted you off the ground, Fran."

Frankie nodded with a shrug as she pulled open the door. "Valid point."

It was a Sunday afternoon and the mall was buzzing. Everyone and their mom seemed to be at the mall today. Frankie wasn't sure if Dustin was even going to have a free moment alone with Steve. Although Scoops Ahoy wasn't the most popular shop to snack at, it usually got a good amount of foot traffic. She hoped Robin wasn't in a bad mood and would at least cover for a bit while the two reunited.

"Listen, I have to go pick up my check real quick. Do you wanna come with me or just go straight to Scoops?" Frankie asked Dustin as the two finally entered the main area of the mall. Not getting an answer, Frankie turned to her left and scoffed as she watched the back of his curly head jog over to the nautical themed ice cream shop.

Frankie continued her short journey to Al Forno stopping once as a mom with the biggest stroller she had ever seen seemed to take her time to walk across the entrance of the restaurant. Rolling her eyes she quickly walked past her and into the fake Italian restaurant.

"Hey, stranger." The low voice of Tabatha Lane echoed sarcastically across the counter. Frankie just leaned over the counter to match her, blowing a raspberry into her face.

"Hey, Batty."

"I thought you were spending time with your kid today." Tabatha raised a brow at her friend, only half interested in her reply.

Frankie simply walked behind the counter with a grin. "I am, but I need to pick up my check. You know, so I can support him."

Tabatha rolled her eyes. "So where is he know? With his mother?"

"Mother?" Frankie asked with a frown, before pushing on the swinging door with her back so she could head to the office. Tabatha followed closely behind, stopping so she was holding the door open with her shoulder but still facing the tall brunette.

"You know, your wife... the mother of your children."

"You have got to stop calling Steve, my wife, Tabatha." Frankie quickly turned around so she could hide the warmth forming on her cheeks from the blonde. Although, she did feel butterflies form in her stomach at the connotation, it still felt weird hearing the words come out of Tabatha's mouth.
