Keith sat down next to Lance in the booth, Pidge and Hunk right in front of them.

"Sooo," Hunk broke the ice, "What news did you want to share with us?"

"Spill the tea." Pidge chimed in, sipping on their milkshake.

Everyone looked at Lance curiously, wondering why he had all called them to the diner. Keith took a glance at the brunette's face. He was certainly happy and very excited to tell whatever news he had. Keith felt his heart pounding in his chest and looked away, a light blush on his face. Lance was so perfect in his eyes.

"Well..." Lance started, a smug look on his face as he was clearly confident, "I'M DATING ALLURA NOW!!!"

Keith felt his heart break into millions of pieces. He went pale and just stared at Lance as their friends whooped and cheered. Lance had been crushing on Allura for some time now and they were all happy for him.

Through clenched teeth, Keith replied, "That's great Lance... I'm happy for you."

And Keith was happy for him.

"Thanks man, " Lance pulled him into a side hug, "You're a great friend."

Pidge looked over at the two of them. Only they noticed the look on Keith's face. The face he made when he was trying not to cry.

~A Month Later~

Lance gathered his friends around the diner once again but this time, Allura came along. The happy two kept smiling widely at each other, blushing and giggling.

Keith wanted to die in a hole.

"So, we have an announcement!" Lance exclaimed, hugging Allura tightly, a blinding smile plastered on his face.

"We're officially a couple now!!!" They both announced, ending with a kiss.

Hunk and Pidge cheered once again, whistling and making noise. A lot of the people eating there looked over, saw the happy couple, and clapped along. Keith sank back in his seat, feeling like he needed to barf. He just stuck on a smile and cheered with his friends, complimenting the new couple.

This time, Hunk glanced over at Keith. He saw his unnatural smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. He saw the way his face was too pale and the way he was very fidgety. Hunk sighed, Keith was in pain.

Keith was beginning to hate this diner

~A Year Later~

This time, it wasn't at the diner. The four friends sat around Lance's house, playing Mario Kart. Suddenly, Lance stood, waving his arms like crazy.

"I almost forgot!," He beamed, "I have an announcement!"

The other three paused the game, looking up at him.
