Sara
Once I got everyone inside, I grabbed my first aid kit and tended to everyone's wounds.
"Start with him." They said pointing at the Spiderman guy.
"Uh, if you guys want more comfortable clothes, I have some in the closet over there." I pointed as the the only woman in the group got up.
"For her, sure, but what about us?" The Thor guy asked.
"I have clean men's clothing in the closet as well." I sighed as I tried to get to his wounds.
"Do you need some help?" The Ironman guy asked me.
"I'd love some. I can't get to his cuts through this... uh, suit." I mumbled as he pressed a button on the suit and it expanded. "Strange..." I whispered.
"Girl! I need my suit ironed in 3 minutes or I'll be late!" My stepfather bellowed through the speaker.
"I'll be right over." I said softly.
"What do you call me!?" He yelled.
"Sorry, sir." I rolled my eyes.
"Is this your work place?" Ironman guy asked me.
"No, this is my... house, and that was my stepfather, now if you'll excuse me, I'll be right back." I said as I plucked the suit off the rack and walked across the field to the mansion. I handed it to Juilliard, the butler, before walking out and back to the 'Avengers.'
"I probably should have asked before, but what is your name small girl?" The Thor guy asked me.
"First of all, I'm not small, I'm fun sized, and my name is Sara Carter." I answered as the Captain America guy's eyes widened.
"Are you in any way related to Peggy Carter?" He asked.
"No, I'm not." I said as I walked over to the woman to tend to her cuts while the Spiderman guy slept.
"Nice to meet you, Sara, I'm Natasha Romanoff." She smiled as she shook my hand.
"Black Widow?" I asked as they all stared at me. "Whoa, what?" I asked.
"You know my secret identity. How?" She asked as she pointed her gun at me.
"Easy! I... uh, did you just say your secret identity? ... no way." I breathed hard as her gun got closer.
"What?" Hawkeye asked getting closer to me with his bow and arrow.
"That can't-! I-! Hold on, I just need to grab something. Please try not to kill me, I'm just a high schooler, I promise." I backed up and kneeled down to grab a comic book and the Avengers movie.
"Here... look at these... I'm almost certain that, that lightning bolt sent you here to my dimension..." I whimpered as Captain America and Ironman looked through the book and movie.
"Where did you learn that?" Antman asked.
"In school... I don't usually understand, but quantum theory was quite interesting. Please don't kill me." I begged as Spiderman started to cough harshly.
"Kid!" Tony yelled as he ran over to the mat Peter was laying on.
"Please, let me help him." I asked as her gun got closer.
"Nat, let her help." Tony barked as she put her gun down.
"Shh, it's ok Peter, just try to calm down. I'm going to help you." I soothed as I pulled his mask up and a gun was pressed up against my head. "I need to open his air ways, meaning his mouth, and his nose. I won't uncover anything else." I sighed as I continued to pull it up. He coughed harder. "I have a pillow upstairs on my bed, please can someone go get it?" I asked softly as Scott ran upstairs and grabbed my pillow.
"Thank you, Scott." I thanked him as I gently lifted Peter's head and placed it on the pillow. He still wasn't calming down so I took his hand and placed it over my heart.
"Can you feel me breathe? I need you to try to mimic that ok? Nice and slow." I whispered as I held his hand over my heart. I slowed my breathing, and he soon did as well.
"Better?" I asked softly as he nodded. "Good. Now, how are you feeling?"
"Better, thank you." He smiled softly as I placed his hand on his stomach.
"Does anything hurt?" I asked as I light poked his arms.
"My shoulder, but it should stop soon." He winced as I held his other hand.
"May I take a look, just to make sure it's just brused?" I soothed as he nodded. I slowly pulled his suit down to see his very swollen shoulder.
"I think you might have popped your shoulder out of it's joint... no, you definitely popped your shoulder out of it's joint." I corrected myself as I got up and grabbed a long ripped cloth to wrap around his arm as a makeshift cast. "I'm not going to lie to you, this is going to hurt... like, a lot." I said as he nodded.
"3...1!" I said as I pushed his arm back into joint and he screamed into the pillow. I winced. "Let me get you some advil for the pain. I'm sorry." I whispered as he nodded and held his shoulder. I went to my purse and grabbed the Advil for Peter.
"Here, take these and in 30 minutes it should start easing the pain." I yawned and looked at the clock. 11:45.
I groaned as my annoying stepbrother came over the speaker.
"Sara? Make me a bath." He demanded.
"Why can't you do it yourself? Also, it's almost midnight... why now?" I yawned.
"You're my slave, and no one can hear you scream." He whispered as a shiver went down my spine.
"Do it yourself you pervert. And I'm your stepsister, not your slave." I hissed as I put the speaker on mute and hung up before putting my face into my sleeve and screaming.
"Are you safe here?" Cap asked me.
"I'm fine, but thank you. I can handle myself." I said as a rebellious tear ran down my cheek.
"You have a hard life, don't you dear?" Nat asked me.
"Hard doesn't even begin to explain this... mess." I sighed as I wiped my cheek.
"Are they always that-." Bruse started.
"There's a few words for them, but yes." I sighed as I pulled out blankets and pillows.
"I'm sorry I can't offer you guys actual beds, this is all I have, but if you want to sleep upstairs, it's at least a little warmer up there." I frowned as Peter tried to get up. "Absolutely not, what do you think you're doing?"
"Getting up." He said as I shook my head and pushed him back down.
"You're going to throw up is you get up too fast." I shook my head at him.
"How old are you Sara?" Scott asked.
"I always like people to guess my age. Almost no one gets it right." I smirked.
"20." Thor asked as I shook my head.
"21?" Captain America guessed as I still shook my head.
"18?" Antman asked as I shook my head.
"12?" Bruse guessed as I laughed.
"That was the first time anyone has guessed younger." I smiled.
"19" Tony guessed.
"Nope." I shrugged.
"14." Clint asked as I shook my head again.
"17?" Peter tried as I shook my head.
"Guys, she said she was a high schooler, just a bit lower." Nat scolded. "What about 15?"
"You all were pretty close. I'm 16 years old." I laughed.
"You're Peter's age! How come you live alone though?" Tony asked.
"My stepfather said I didn't fit the picture 'perfect' family he had, so he made me live here."I sighed.
"That's awful! You're beautiful Sara, that doesn't make any sense!" Peter growled as we all looked at him and a blush spread across my nose.
"You really think I'm beautiful?" I asked pulling back.
"Uh! Um, actually, yeah. You are." He blushed as my face flared.
"Has no one called you beautiful before?" Tony asked me.
"Other then catcalls, no." I cringed.
"I feel so bad for you dear." Nat pouted as my dogs came over.
"What are those!?" Thor asked.
"These are my dogs. Oreo and Hunter, go greet." I pointed as they went to everyone and licked their hands.
"Aw! They're so cute!" Peter cooed as I giggled.
"And this is Dallas and Freedom." I said as I went over to my horses. Freedom nuzzled my head as I petted her nose. "Sleep now, my darlings. I bring your apples and carrots in the morning for breakfast." I giggled as Dallas trotted around his stall happily.
"I'll show you where you can sleep, if you'd like. Here, Peter, let me help you." I whispered.
"I'm- and back down." He grunted.
"Slowly, please let me help you?" I soothed as he nodded and I helped him sit up slowly.
"Better?" I whispered as he nodded and swung his feet over to the side. "Steady yourself first, and then I'll help you to your feet." I instructed as he nodded, took a moment before nodding again and holding out his hand. I grabbed a hold of his hand and his arm as I pulled him up to stand.
"Try not to baby him." Tony laughed.
"Everyone needs to be babied every once in a while, that's how you know who's really going to be there for you when you actually need them." I murmured as he nodded. "Are you ready to walk?" I asked as he nodded just as his legs gave out. I picked him up and carried him up the stairs as he hid his face.
"Damn you're strong." Clint chuckled.
"I volunteer in nursing homes, orphanages, and in daycare centers. You kinda have to be strong to support them." I smiled as I placed him into a chair.
"Thanks." He breathed through his hands.
"Of course, do you want to change into something more comfortable then that?" I asked as he nodded slowly. I walked back downstairs and grabbed him a pair of grey sweats and a muscle shirt.
"Sorry, this was all I could find in the clean laundry." I frowned as he thanked me and shakily walked into the bathroom.
"Why do you volunteer at those places?" Cap asked me.
"1. I love working with the elderly and with children, 2. It helps with volunteer hours I need in order to graduate, and 3. It looks good on college and job applications." I answered before I walked into my room to change into pjs."Are you all ok? Do you guys need anything?" I asked softly.
"Coffee in the morning?" Tony grumbled as he yawned.
"No question, along with breakfast. If you guys need anything, feel free to wake me up." I said.
"What if you're not here?" Peter asked.
"I'll be here until 5 AM. I have to make big over there first, and that will take about an hour, but then I'll come right back over and make breakfast and coffee here. Please try to not raid my fridge. I don't get my next paycheck until next Friday." I explained as I almost dropped to my knees in pure exhaustion.
"Sara!" They exclaimed as I fell.
"I'm ok! Just tired, I'm ok though." I reassured them as Tony picked me up and cradled me in his arms. "Whoa, Tony, I'm alright."
"You took care of us, and now it's our turn to take care of you." He said as I nodded and hugged his neck.
"Thank you. I haven't had someone care for me in such a long time." I sniffled before I fell asleep in his arms.Tony
"Nat! What do I do now?" I panicked in hushed tones.
"Tuck her into her bed." She soothed as I did what she told me to do, before I went to 'bed' myself. Sleep came easily for all of us, and before we knew it, we were out like a light.
