I shake my umbrella before I enter the school and stomp my feet to get the mud off. After that I run to class because the bus broke down and I was late.

I run in and apologize to Mr. Smith, "Sir I'm so sorry my bus broke down and-" "It's fine just sit down we are taking a test." I take a seat and Evan walks in right behind me. "Sorry, I-""Sit" Mr. Smith says looking around making sure no one was cheating.

I scan through the test and finish it quickly placing the package upside down. Everyone seemed to be engrossed into the white pages in front of them. I glance to my left and Evan is still on the first page, his eyebrows pull together. I smile slightly but hid it as Mr. Smith walks towards my desk.

"You finished?" he whispers. I nod and he grabs my test grading it in front of me. He places the test down showing the A on top and I nod again. "Since you're so smart can you help me grade some test from my other classes?" I nod following him towards the front and see a stack of test that was so high it was tilting. I sit and start grading as the time flew by.

The bell rings and students place the test on the stack that was becoming a monster the more it grew.

Students began rushing out and I stop Evan, "Evan, Wait-" he stops but I'm cut off by Mr. Smith. "Rachel, a word." I glance back and forth between the two and speak up again, "I'll talk to you later." Evan nods and walks out.

When everyone is gone Mr. Smith begins to talk, "Rachel I've been looking for another teacher aid since my work has been piling up. I have another one but he's a good for nothing, always fooling around." I pause taking everything in. "I don't know, my classes are all full. I can't just change my schedule and-" he stops me from continuing, "Rachel don't worry you'd come after school. You and my other teacher aid. Please I could really use the extra help plus it'll be food on your transcript." he pleads. I really take a good look at his face and take notice of his face. He had bags under his eyes, his hair was disheveled and I'm pretty sure he wore that green shirt twice last week. I sigh feeling bad for him. "When do I start?" "Yes! Thank the Lord! You start after school if you are free but if not its okay since its last minute." he says as some life comes back to his eyes.

"I'm free today, I guess I'll see you after school." I say as he praises me. "Thank you, thank you!" "Okay, okay I have to get to class." I say escaping.

I walk into Pre-calculus and find someone on my seat. It was a curtain red head that was glaring at me. That glare looked familiar... freckles, green eyes, ow ow she almost cut me, her glare was so sharp. I didn't even bother and sat at her seat which was right behind mine. I pull out my notes and homework. "Rachel can we compare I'm not too confident on number ten" the girl to my right asks. I nod explaining to her where she went wrong. She nods and it felt like a light bulb went off and she smiled, "Oh I understand thank you" I nod, "no problem." The class quiets down as Mrs. Barker shuts the door.

She starts calling attendance and stops at my name, I glance up and she was glaring at me. I felt my heart stop, my eyes widen, I froze like a deer in head lights. What did I do?

"How many times do I have to say no switching spots! This is my classroom if you can't even respect my rules how am I suppose to respect you. This is the last time I say this. Do. Not. Move. Seats!" she fums and I start to understand. I was about to open my mouth but someone beats me to it. "Well, Rachel was already sitting there when I came but I didn't want to cause trouble so I just sat down. I'm sorry Mrs. Barker." the green eyed girl says in an innocent voice. Not the voice that a young child would use but one that is too timid and shy to speak up.

I was left with my jaw open and Mrs. Barker seems not to be having it. To think that one of the meanest teachers in our school was so passionate about anti-bullying. "Rachel, get out of my class." It was cold but had restraint to it as if I pushed anymore of her sensitive buttons she might just kill me. I was so shocked that I just sat there. The whole class was staring at me I felt my face burn up with embarrassment. I didn't ever get a word out and I was already the bad guy. (duh)
