Clexa is Violet's parents :)
—————————
Violet POV"I hate this shit! I got kicked out of defense training for a week all because I beat this kid and he got mad and I yelled at him! Not my fault he sucks ass at sword fighting!" Lexa yelled," VIOLET GRIFFIN-WOODS! LANGUAGE!" Clarke came in and said," Calm down, guys. What's going on?" I told her," I got kicked out of defense training because I beat a kid... and I'm sorry I'll watch my language." "Hm, well they don't kick teens out for nothing, maybe you did something wrong?" Clarke inquired. Lexa backed her up, "Did you fight the kid too hard?" "No, I didn't! I just told you what happened, I can't believe you guys," I said while storming out. Clarke sighed and commented, "Kids these days." Lexa chuckled and packed Clarke on the cheek. "Are we bad parents?" Lexa asked. "I hope not" Clarke responded.
This is a load of bull. I can't even take out my anger in sparring because I got kicked out. I went to a nearby lake to wash off and get a drink. That's when I saw a girl.
She had wavy, brunette hair tied into two pigtails, tan skin, a tank top, shorts, with short boots. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of amber with defined facial features and was perfect all around. As gorgeous as she was, the gun she had on her hip didn't make her exactly approachable. I tried to sneak away, but obviously I had to just trip on something and fall and pray to Becca Pramheda she didn't hear me.
Shit-sticks. She heard me.
I heard her walking in my direction and I could only assume she had her gun drawn. It was too late to hide, so I came out with my hands up. "What the hell are you doing here?!" the girl asked, gun pointed at me. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to startle you, I was just trying to wash off and get some water." I responded as calmly as I could. She kicked behind my leg, hard, causing me to fall and put her gun to my head.
Fuck. Is this how I'm going to die?
The girl waited a couple seconds then put her gun away and offered me a hand up. I accepted it, but what the hell was that kick for? "I already surrendered you know, no point in making me land flat on my back."
"You can never be too careful, and you had a lot of chances to attack me, but you didn't."
"Well, you caught me in a bad mood. If you didn't have a gun pointed at me from 5 feet away, I might've attacked you."
"Thanks for not attacking me when I didn't see you, at least. I'm Clementine of the Sky People, nice to meet you." Clementine smiles and offered a forearm handshake. Woah, she's really pretty. I accepted and introduced myself too. "And thanks for not shooting me with your gun. I'm Violet kom trikru (of the tree people)." Clementine chuckled a bit, "Well, Vi, I can tell you one thing."
"And what's that, Clem?" I said, slightly blushing at her cute laugh.
"That we'll be great partners." Clem answered.
For some odd reason, I felt really confident. "What if I wanna be more than just 'partners'?" Maybe a little too confident. I shouldn't have said that. ohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh
"I guess you'll just have to wait and see," Clem said with a wink while turning back towards the lake to do what she was doing. I'm glad she turned away because I swear my face just went through every single shade of red. I want to get to know her. Clem's pretty strong for a sky girl, that piqued my interest. We talked for a bit by the lake and we ended up sparring and this time I evened out the score by making her land on her back. Clem didn't get up though, confusing me. "Why aren't you getting up dummy?" I said with a chuckle. Clementine looked up at the sky and said," The stars are beautiful tonight, well every night really." I thought she's beautiful tonight, but obviously I couldn't tell her that.
I laid down next to her and looked up at the stars. "Didn't those people from a long time ago make up pictures in the sky?" I asked. Clem thought about it and answered. " Constellations are sky pictures. Some people believed that the constellation you were born under can determine your personality, and that's astrology." She was looking at the stars, but I was looking at her. I imagined being her girlfriend and blushed. If this is what it's like having someone to love, other than family, I would really like that, but she probably likes boys. I dismiss the thought of being her lover so I don't get disappointed.I looked back up at the sky."Hey Clem?" She replied with a sleepy "Yeah?" I asked "I don't know any sky pictures. Can you teach me some?" A soft snore was replaced instead of words. I shook her awake and told her we should get home. "Yeah, I miss my bed" Clem says, yawning. "I'll see you in training?" She asked. I scratched the back of my neck, "Uh, I actually kind of got kicked out for a week."
"Oh, so you're a troublemaker like that, huh?"
"Maybe I am." I said suggestively. She whispered," I guess we'll see next week." Hopefully it's dark enough so she doesn't see my burning cheeks. We walk opposite ways, Clem to Arkadia, and Me to Polis. I wish a week went by faster.I tried to sneak to my bed but Clarke and Lexa were sitting on the couches, like they were expecting me.
"Uh, haha, hi?"
"Violet Griffin-Woods, by the laws of this household you are sentenced to immediate grounded punishment " they said perfectly in sync.
"Oh god how long did you guys practice that"
"A long time" Lexa said.—————————
