4.Inner Demons

3 weeks later...

Freed coughed out like a frog choking on a fly.

He suddenly vomitted falling onto the ground.

"Freed!" Evergreen cried as she held Freed, she patted his back softly.

Laxus jogged his way there and helped Freed up to the entrance of the guild hall.

He brings him outside and Freed vomitted even more.

"Are you okay?" Laxus asked.

Evergreen stayed inside knowing the situation.

"Im fine! You can fo back inside.." Freed coughed.

"Ill stay here just in ca--"

"Mira will worry..!" Freed said. He continued coughing before finally calming down. Laxus stayed.

Freed looked at Laxus and they made eye contact. Laxus looked at Freed before slowly placing his hand on Freed's cheeck.

"Im sorry.." Laxus whispered. He pulled back his hand and looked away.

Freed looked down and held the cheeck that was touched.

"Laxus, Im happy that you care..but I dont want Mirajanne to get worry about us." Freed said holding on of Laxus' hand. Trembling.

"I--I..I love you." Freed whispered. Laxus looked at him and Freed smiled. "And if your happy...

Then thats enough."

Elfman came out with water.

"Here you go, Freed." He said. Freed took the water and drinked it. He gave the glass back to Elfman and smiled to Laxus slightly.

"Im heading back home." Freed said. "Please inform Evergreen and the others."

"Let me go with you." Laxus said.

Freed shaked his head. "Stay here, its for the better, plus, Im going to visit Zaine and Garroth.

Dont get too worried." Freed waved his hand down. Laxus bend down and got a kiss on the cheeck. Laxus looked at Freed shock.

Freed waved goodbye and left immediatly.

"The mark is getting bad." Zaine said. "Its brusing."

Zaine applied some lotion on top of the mark before Freed turning to him.

"I felt like I was choking just now. I vomitted for awhile too." Freed said. Zaine suggested him the lay down on the couch.

Zaine held Freed's stomache and closed his eyes.

"I dont sense anything, though." Zaine said. "The baby is fine."

"How many months in?" Garroth interrupted.

"About 3." Freed counted.

Terra and Orion played tagged with their new pet pup around the house.

"Kids! You better not break anything!" Zaine said standing up.

"Dont worry too much, Hun." Garroth smiled.

Zaine sighed and sat back down continuing to stroke softly Freed's stomache again.

"I envy you." Freed looked at the children playing. "To have such a bright husband and active children is always a lively family."

"To me, its a pain." Zaine shrug. "But Im happy..Garroth changed my life and Im grateful for him
