The next day...

Laxus layed his head on Mira's shoulder on the chair in the guild hall.

"Im sorry.."Laxus said.

"It wasnt your fault.." Mira looked at Laxus and held his cheeck. "I told you, we'll fix this together.."

Laxus held Mira hand and kiss her hand looking at her smiling.

"I lov--"

"Laxus." Evergreen came in the guild hall. The other guild mates turn to her for news.

Suddenly Laxus felt like his chest, stomache and senses came back. He smelled sweet caramel behind her. He stood up. Evergreen looked at him with eyes of pity and turn to,

Freed.

Laxus stood up and looked at Freed with painful eyes and held his hands in a clench. Everybody looked in an awe to see Freed, pale,tired and to sense him weak.

"Im sorry." Freed said. He looked away from Laxus and held up his tears.

"I, wont leave you again..." Freed muttered. "But I wont marry you, or become your mate..

You'll be happier with Mira.

Ill just come around."

All of the guild members looked at Freed in shock.

"What're you saying?" Erza stood up. She was talking to Gray and Natsu.

Freed looked at her.

"Ill be by his side for the sake of him not getting hurt." Freed said.

"But what about you?!" Lucy stood up.

Freed looked at her and he looked down.

"I cant force Laxus. He loves her.

I may be fated with him..

But Im as weak as I can be. If he loves her. Then let him be..

I cant force an arm to hold me dearly." Freed cries.

Laxus stayed in a daze. He wants to walk to Freed, hug him and tell him its alright.

But Mira held him and cried near him. Mouthing out the words.

'Please dont go'

And so he didnt.

"Thanks Freed." Laxus said. All of the guild members was in utter shock. He accepted the offer?

Evergreen clenched her hands, Elfman calming her down.

Freed looked up as if he forgot something, he turned.to his back and signals someone to come up front.

"And please take care of our news guild members." He bowed.

Zaine and Garroth complete with their children bowed aswell.

Freed sat with Evergreen as she slowly comb his hair. Freed still dripping tears from his eyes. Elfman sat beside her while the other guildmate made the hall streaming with voices.

"Where's Zaine and Garroth?" Freed asked.

"With Master." Elfman answered. Freed looked at Master and with sorrowful eyes. Beside him was Mira and Laxus hugging. Laxus whispering into her ear.

Mira smiling and giggling.

Freed looked down and held his stomache aching more and more.

His body feel hot but when he ask people to check his temperature, it was normal. He wasnt on fever. The mark on his body began to glow dimly and slightly burning his skin.
