-Italy's POV-
Today I opened my eyes for the first time in a long time. I saw the sun shine through the window and hit my face. I pulled myself up from my warm bed and looked around the room. My big brother Romano wasn't with me. I shrugged it off and changed into my usual clothing: a blue suit dress and black shoes.
"Ah, wonderful morning isn't Itabby?" I asked my little brown cat. He meowed back at me.
I smiled at him and skipped out of the room. Mr. Germany and Romano were eating apple pancakes. I saw some sitting on a plate so I skipped to those and brought them to the table they ate at.
"Guten Morgen, Italy." Germany said, biting a pancake.
"Morning, sis." Romano grumbled.
"Hey guys, thanks for cooking, Germany." I smiled.
Germany smiled back and Romano glared at him. "No problem, Italy, I was hungry and because you live here I figured make you guys food also." he said.
Romano directed his attention to me, "So, little sister, what are you gonna do today?" he asked.
"Uh? Maybe visit Japan and go to an Allie's meeting. That's okay, brother?" I said, hoping he wouldn't mind me wanting to get away from him.
He grunted and sighed, "Fine, just don't get caught if they don't want you." he said.
I smiled. Germany looked at me, "Italy, be careful, you know how Britain and America are about you sneaking in on their meetings."
"I know, but America wouldn't mess with a big strong country like you, huh, Germany?" I giggled.
"Just go, Italy, before I bite you." Romano hissed. It was obvious he didn't like my friendship with Germany. Must be a brother thing. I wonder if Switzerland is like that to Liechtenstein?
I finished my food and left Mr. Germany's house. I got to Japan's and she let me in. We sat in her living room eating some vegetable pasta in a weird bowl and talked about the other countries. Not mean just what we thought of them.
"Italy?" the cute girl with black hair and eyes asked.
"Yes, Japan?" I replied.
"Why is your brother so mean to Germany?" she asked.
"I don't know, I can get him to listen to me for a second."
"Hrm... maybe because Germany likes you, Italy."
I felt my face redden and I blushed hard. "No!"
"Wah? Italy are you okay?"
I sighed, I didn't want to discuss Holy Rome with her. I sat and looked at my feet. I felt her stare. Chills ran up my spine.
"Italy, what happened, you where fine a minute ago?"
"Japan, I had my first real love years ago, before I knew any of you."
"Who?" she asked.
"Holy Rome, he went to war after kissing me and never came back. We had spent year together but never really confessed any feelings. I gave him a red string and I haven't seen his anywhere."
Her face went blank. I felt tears begin to swell. She sighed and pulled me into a hug. I felt better because she doesn't like to be touched.
"Italy, this may come off rude but get over Holy Rome, Germany likes you." she said.
Her Japanese accent made me smile. The way she said her L's like R's was funny. I shook my head and smiled. I didn't want to hear that Germany liked me.
"I need to go to a meeting with the Allies. I'll see you Japan." I said, holding back tears.
"Bye, Italy." she waved me out.
I took off to get there soon. I hoped they wouldn't notice me. As I ran there Holy Rome filled my thoughts. Why did this have to happen today. They needed me to do this.
I got the Allies base and sunk into the meeting room. I saw a girl there. She had choppy short blond hair and blueish green eyes. She was holding a polar bear doll. She was talking to it.
I pushed the tears away with my sleeve and walked to her. "Hello? Who are you?" I asked.
"I'm Canada." she said, with a tiny frail voice.
"Canada? Where are you?" I asked, intrigued to know.
"I'm America's little sister." she shyly responded.
"But America's only sibling is Britain."
"That means I have two brothers?"
"Yeah, I guess. Britain is your oldest, I guess."
The door opened and people came in. America, Britain, and China. I went to the corner in the room. They hadn't noticed me yet. France and Russia came in. The whole Allies gang was here.
France scanned the room. "Strange, it's as if somebody is watching us, or me."
Britain nodded and walked around the room. China got into a fighting position. Crap, Japan's older brother. Britain avoided China but got closer to Russia.
"Guys, can't you see, she's over there." Canada said. Every Allie looked at her and then me. Russia and America ran over to me. Russia pulled me into his hands.
I swallowed any bit of bravery I had. "Germany, help! I'm sorry, please leave me alone. White flag, white flag! Please leave me alone!" I cried, waving a white flag.
Russia snickered. "Oh, you must be Italy. Your cute, little one." he laughed. His breath smelt like vodka. I squirmed in his grip.
"Russia, put her down." America stated.
He put me down on the floor and smiled. I whimpered and looked at Canada. I glared at her. She continued to talk to the bear.
"Thanks?" I said confused. America pulled me to my feet. I looked at him blankly.
"No need, why are you here?" he asked.
I thought. I couldn't tell them I was spying. They'd kill me. I smirked at him, "I wanted to see a hero." I lied. He smiled.
"Hero? America a hero? He can't do anything all day but eat." Britain protested.
I smiled. "Anyone want some pasta?" I asked. They all looked at me. Russia smiled. China looked at me.
"Sure, I'd love to try pasta from a friend." Russia said.
France inched his way to me. "You're making right, pretty girl?" he asked.
"Please stop, I need to get back to my brother." I squealed.
America grabbed my arm. "Italy, why did you really come." he asked.
I fake sighed. "You have a sister."
"I knew Britain was a girl!" he shouted.
"No, Canada! The girl over there playing with that polar bear toy!" I yelled. Canada looked up.
Britain looked at me and America. America looked at her. "She is our sister?" Britain asked.
"Yeah." I said.
America let go of my arm. I ran out of the room and ran my way to Germany's house. What was I going to tell him. I got caught and caused something with the Allies. Romano is going to kill me twice.
