-Italy's POV-
I didn't know what I was going to do. I missed the way it used to be. Germany and Japan would train while Romano would yell at me or Germany. Spain would come over and give me snacks and calm big brother down. I'd take naps all day and then make pasta for me and my friends.
I sat on the chair thinking about the past. Then phone made a loud echoing ring. I ran and picked it up. "Ciao? This is Italy." I said.
"Oh, good. Italy, its me Romano." he said.
"Leave me alone!" I yelled into the phone.
"No, Italy, I couldn't tell you what happened." he argued.
"Why couldn't you tell me?!"
There was a minute of silence. "Because, if I had told you then you would have hated me, Italy."
"So you think I don't hate you now?" I snapped.
"Can I come over and explain it to you in person." he asked.
I paused. I didn't know what to say to him. I loved my brother but his choice in not telling me about our Grandpa Rome. I thought about it. "Sure. You'll have a half hour." I said.
"Okay, I'm coming." he said and hung up.
I sighed and threw the phone onto the charger. Why did I feel so sad and pitiful. I went into the kitchen and grabbed one of my bottles of wine, I had the urge drink the problem away. I popped the top off as soon as the door was knocked on.
"Come in." I yelled.
The door opened and Romano and Spain came in. I poured some wine into a glass. Romano walked hastily to me. He put the wine away and hit me.
"What was that for!" I yelled.
"You can't be serious! Days ago you were happy and now your crying over the past!" he yelled.
"Roma, leave her alone." Spain said.
"I'm fine, Spain, I won't hurt my baby sister." he said.
I grabbed the glasses and walked into the living room. I handed them a glass and sat down. "Why?" I asked.
"I couldn't tell you about Germania killing Grandpa Rome because I couldn't handle the truth myself. It took everything Spain could think of to calm me down." Romano said.
"Si, I had to calm Roma down for days. He didn't to make you suffer, some nights Roma still needs to be calmed down. Ita, please forgive him." Spain said.
"So you think I'm not grown up enough to know how to handle that?" I asked.
"No, Italy, I think your a very grown up woman. I just didn't want you to be hurt like I was when I found out." Romano said.
I sipped my glass. "Can I go back to Germany's house? It's so quiet and lonely here. Romano, I promise nothing is going to happen."
He drank his wine and sighed. Spain looked at him. They exchanged a long glance and looked away from each other. Romano looked into my brown eyes.
"Italy, you can go back to his house if he will let you." Romano said.
"Your serious?!" I asked loudly.
"As long as you don't do what me and Spain have." he said.
Spain's face got a little red. I smiled and hugged my brother. Half a bottle of wine later, they left. I rushed to call Germany. He was home and picked the phone up.
"Tag? This is Germany. Who is this?" he asked.
"Ciao, it's me, Italy." I said.
"Italy? Are you sure we can be talking or if you even want to talk to me?" he asked.
"Yeah, Romano said that if you'd let me I could go live with you." I said.
"I'm not sure. After the wedding it's been crowded here. And when you pulled that stunt with Romano..." he carried off.
"No, Germany, I promise...I'll behave. I'll take care of cleaning and I won't get jealous over Japan." I whined.
"Fine...if you'll be my Italy." he said.
I paused, it was what he asked me to do before. I hadn't known what to tell him. I loved him, but Romano wouldn't let me be his girlfriend. I thought about it, "Okay...but don't tell Roma?" I said.
"Agreed, I'll make your old room ready. Goodbye." he said.
"Ciao, Germany." I said, hanging up. As I put the phone down I felt my heart bubble up. I was going back to the way life used to be, when I woke up to the smell of Germany's cooking.
-Japan's POV-
I sat in the living room with my family. We were watching a film together. Me and China sat next to Taiwan. We noticed China had began to develop her figure.
Korea was sitting on his chair, texting. Hong Kong was talking with Thailand. Vietnam sat quietly watching the movie. Me, China, and Taiwan were snacking on popcorn.
After the movie it was back to our usual day. Vietnam and Hong Kong would farm, Thailand and Korea created technology, China and Taiwan fought over everything, and I went to my Axis meetings. I went to my room to relax. My cellphone rang, Greece had called.
"Hello?" I asked.
"Japan, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out. I know its weird to ask, but I'm not giving up on your love. I slack off on everything and that is probably why you fell for that other guy." he said.
"Greece, I'd love to hang out..." I muttered. I didn't know what to say really, I was planning on trying to get England interested. I figured I would go.
"But?" he asked.
"I was going to say, I'd like to know when and where?" I said.
"Sweden's Cafe? Noon?" he suggested.
"Okay, see you then." I said.
