~America's POV~
I had been sitting at home, with England. Canada went to Korea's party. England would've let me go, but I know how drunk he'd get if he was alone. I'd have to pick Canada up in an hour. After that she could watch our brother.
When she'd get home, I could go hang out with Denmark. Denmark wanted to watch a scary movie. Of course, if I told him no then I wouldn't be seen as a hero. I had to be a hero, it was what I do best.
"America, what are you thinking about?" England asked, drinking his tea.
I smiled, "Nothing much, just planning to go to Denmark's after I pick Canada up. Why?"
"You can go now. I'll be fine. It's not like I'm in pain or anything." he said.
I chuckled, "Dude, you got drunk. You always get drunk when I leave you alone."
England scoffed. "I do not. I'm perfectly fine and I can stay sober."
"I'm not going to argue, bro." I said.
"Fine," England said, looking at the clock, "You should get driving, it's a long way to China's house."
I nodded and left. England always started crap like that. He denied he would get drunk and continue to piss me off. I couldn't blame him though, England's older brother, Scotland, had been a drunkard. Me and Canada were his family, she was more of France's, England raised me like his little brother. He found me and adopted me as his brother, same as my little sister who was also adopted by France in a different way.
France raised Canada as his daughter. England took care of her as a sister. Canada was my little sister so he didn't have issues. Canada spent most of our childhood at France's so I forgot she was my sister. I guess England did too.
I pulled into the Asian countries's driveway. I walked up to the door, China came and stared. She let me in and called for Canada. She came out, holding Korea's left hand. My eyes grew wide as he kissed her forhead.
"Hi, America." she said.
"Hey." I said, walking to China.
"America, is everything okay, aru?" she asked.
"No, when did this happen?" I asked.
"What, aru?" China asked, unsure.
"Korea and Canada." I said.
"They've been like that all day, aru." she said.
My face grew red. "You didn't call?"
"Why, aru?" she asked.
I resisted hitting her, "Because, I don't know. I would have called if your little brother did something at my house."
"Fine, next time I will, aru." she said.
"I gotta go." I said, leaving the party.
Canada and I got into the car. We didn't talk until I got a block away from the house. I didn't know what to say. Canada was really pink, like she was at the wedding.
"Are you mad?" she asked.
"About you and Korea? Yeah, a little." I said.
She looked out the window. "I know it hasn't been easy for you. Watching England for years. Not being able to fall in love. It doesn't mean you can't though. You gotta stop being a jerk about things like me dating. You can't be a hero if you constantly get mad a people for having something you don't."
I zoned out. "Huh? I was watching the road."
"Nothing. It just sort of happened. He got mature. I really like him. So if you love me, you'll get over it." she said.
