-Canada's POV-
I woke up from my lonely sleep. My bear doll, Kumajiro, was curled up in my arms. I crawled out of bed and took a shower. It had only been a few days since America and England let me move in with them.
I dried and dressed quickly. I checked my calender, Sunday, it was Hungary's and Prussia's wedding today. I sighed and redressed in a red sun dress. I put my glasses on and walked into the living room. America was watching Sunday morning cartoons. I sighed and walked to the kitchen.
England was cooking. "America, how do you like your eggs?" he asked.
America made a small noise, "Nah, I'll eat when we get there."
"Are you sure?" England asked.
"Oh, I'm sure." America said.
"Very well, Canada, what would you like?" he asked me.
I shrugged, "Pancakes with maple syrup."
"Okay, coming right up." he said.
I sat down next to America. He ignored me and continued watching cartoons. I didn't pay attention to them. England served me the pancakes. They looked edible. I covered them in the syrup and ate, they actually tasted good.
America looked at me, "Damn, England, you cooked food."
England looked at him with confusion, "America, I can cook."
"Yeah, but your food isn't usually like this. Canada, is it really good?" America said.
I nodded. "See, my cooking is good." England boasted.
"Whatever, can we go? I don't want to be late." I asked.
They nodded and we left for the wedding. We got there in time. I saw people I knew, but they never really saw me. I saw him, Korea, I had a huge crush on him ever since he came over to visit Hong Kong when he was little. I smiled and waved.
I suddenly remembered when England had tooken control of Hong Kong and raised him for a while. Me and America where still really young, probably about six or seven, and Hong Kong was staying in America's room. I was at France's for most of my childhood. But every time I'd visit my brothers, Korea was visiting his little brother. We got along quite well, until Hong Kong left and Korea stopped coming over.
"Canada? Is that really you?" Korea asked.
I came back to reality, "Uh, oh, yeah. Hi, Korea. How are you?"
"I'm good." he said. He stared at me.
"Are you okay?" I asked
"Yeah, I haven't seen you in forever. It's been about three or four years." he said.
"Really? It feels like it was longer than that." I said.
"Like it matters how long we haven't seen each other, it's cool to see you now." he said.
"Yeah, I was hoping I'd see a familiar face. So how old are you now?" I asked.
"Well, I'm two days from being seventeen." he said. I forgot he was a year younger than me.
"I'm eighteen now, it's kinda weird. Your not a kid but your not a fully grown adult."
He laughed. "Good to know, so wanna find a seat, it looks like their gonna start soon."
"Okay, where at?" I asked.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me to a chair. We smiled at each other. I noticed his eyes were still that charming brown I liked. Someone tapped my left shoulder, I looked to him as he pulled his hand away.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Listen." He said.
Austria sat down at his piano and Prussia hurried to the alter. Austria began to play the song that summoned the beautiful Hungarian bride down the middle of the chairs. It was silent except the piano. Germany was standing by Prussia, Italy followed Hungary. The little Baltic State was video tapping the wedding ceremony.
The song came to a halt and she stood next to her groom. The minister began to speak, "Do you, Prussia, take Miss Hungary to be you lawfully wedded wife? To love, hold, honor, and respect, through sickness and in health?"
"I do." he said.
"Do you, Hungary, take Mr. Prussia to be your lawfully wedded husband? To love, hold, honor, and respect, through sickness and in health?" he said again.
"I do." she said softly.
He nodded. Sea-land handed them rings. They exchanged them. "Is there anyone here who thinks these two should not be wed?" the man asked. It was dead silent. "I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride."
Prussia lifted Hungary's veil. She blushed. He pulled her into a long kiss. The crowd cheered. Hungary and Prussia made their way down and cut the cake. Every country grabbed a slice and dipped into creamy chocolate heaven.
After everyone ate the couples began to dance. Korea pulled me to the dance floor. A really pretty slow song come on. He pulled my body close and began to spin me around. I blushed at his grip on my waist.
He had matured over the time we hadn't talked. He used to say he created everything, he hasn't yet. It made me feel more grown-up to be around him like this. Part of me wanted to pull him into a long romantic kiss.
"My country invented sexy, but damn did you perfect it, Canada." Korea said quietly.
I smiled, it was a complement. "Aw, Korea, your so sweet."
"You look wonderful in that red dress, Canada."
My face was covered in a deep blush. "Thank you."
"Don't blush, you know it's true." he cooed.
England pulled my arm. "Come on, Canada, we need to go."
"Why? I asked.
America came into the scene. "Because our brothers drunk off his ass. If we stay any longer he might go home with France, and that isn't a picture I'd like to see."
"Your drunk, England?" I asked.
"I'm not drunk! I just want to go home." he argued.
"Dude, you told Japan that you wanted to 'see the Great Wall' and your not drunk?" America argued.
"I did what?!" he asked loudly.
"You told my sister that?" Korea asked.
"I don't think so..." England insisted.
I sighed. "Korea, I need to go. I'm sorry."
"Okay, Canada. Do you want to come to my birthday, on Tuesday?" he asked.
"Of course." I said and ran off with my brothers.
When we got home I chewed out England. The next morning he had a massive hangover. America wouldn't let me go near him. I stayed in my room with Kumajiro and thought about Korea.
