A 20 year old Johnathan and his high school sweet heart Molly were rushing through college traffic in TN. It was a March 10th afternoon Molly was in labor with their daughter. They finally arrived at the hospital and after 12 hours of long labor and no progression past 8 cm.
The doctor's decided to do a emergency c section. Molly lost a lot of blood during the c section. And she started to have a heart attack on the table as she had suffered from preclampsia during her pregnancy.
Three days later Johnathan as he held his baby girl Allison Katherine Grace Baker. He made the decison to turn off Molly's life support. He placed Allie Kate in her mom's arms and whispered "That's your mama baby girl." He whispered.
Johnathan took Allie-Kate home and raised her along with the help of his parents. He graduated under grad school and medical school. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt Hospital.
He focused on getting his degree done and raising his baby girl. Dating again wasn't in the cards till he felt like he was at a good place and Allie-Kate was too.
He completed his fellowship in Neurology. His sister Addalyn fixed him up a match.com account. He went on a few dates but nothing ever came out of it other than a one night stand.
But one night while he was on in a on call room. He was going through his matches when he stopped on a name and face.
"Winnie Barnes.. what the hell? James and you were so in love." He whispered.
He hit send a message.
