It was Christmas morning when Bucky was following in behind Allie Kate down the stairs. He seen his dad drinking coffee and he rolled his eyes.
"What are you doing here with her." Bucky said
"Um her name is Tegan. And me and your mother both agreed that we would not be one of those couples that split holidays. Both Johnathan and Tegan said they didn't have a problem with it." James said
"Whatever" he said as he took his plate to the dining room.
They all ate breakfast as one big family. After they all ate and helped clean up they went to the family room. They all found spots as Winnie passed out presents to everyone.
Everyone opened their presents and said their thank yous. Winnie was sitting in Johnathan's lap as Tegan sat in James's lap.
"Now we have two announcements to make and no they were not planned. It just happened to be a coincidence." James said
"We are having a baby..actually both me and Tegan are having babies. Allie Kate finally gets to be a big sister. Im three and half months pregnant." Winnie said
"And Im 4 months pregnant with mine and James's first baby. So James you get to be a big brother twice in one year" Tegan said
"Lucky me" he said as he grabbed his stuff and walked out of the family room. He went up to his room and changed.
They all heard him take off on his dirt bike. Winnie looked down "Winnie don't darlin.. he just needs to adjust to the changes." James said
"Yeah well I wish he could tell us what this is all really about." Winnie said
"Im excited..congrats to you both. And if you two need a baby sitter Im all over that." Allie Kate said with a smile.
Johnathan let out a laugh. "Yeah I know you are baby. Ms Im gonna have 5 kids daddy. " Johnathan said
"Good lord thats alot of baby making Allie Kate." James said
"I know.." she said
Brayden said "Well we are happy for you mom and John and dad and Tegan. And Im also thankful that you all are able to make this not awkward."
"Really" Bradley said
Winnie said " You are welcome guys."
That night Bucky came home he heard everyone laughing in the kitchen. He even heard his dad in the kitchen. He peaked in and saw them playing Uno at the kitchen table and discussing baby names.
He swallowed hard then went upstairs to his room. Allie seen his light on when she finally came upstairs.
"You know its rude. When people make a happy announcement and someone acts like a sour puss." She said
"Just leave me alone Allie Kate." He said as he played his video game.
She shook her head and left the room.
