Chapter 6

1 week later...

They all made it to Motel 7, and set up base camp in Room C14, it was high enough that dogs would have a tough time getting up and had one small window in the bathroom, so no one could storm in and kill them in their sleep.

"I still think we should go after the 6th person" said Thea, trying to back up her argument. "We will be able to leave" she said. "Maybe you can't read but, look we can't leave until everything that's trying to kill us is dead" said Silas with his usual asshole tone. "We still need to find them" said Hudson agreeing with Thea. Silas was cleaning his riffle with a piece of curtain he had ripped off. "Who's next?" Asked Nathan coming from the bathroom.

2 hours before...

Nathan and the rest of the group were off trying to get back to the hospital. And they made it, to the ER. Nathan rummaged through rooms. And everyone rummaged through hospital supplies. Jonah however went to the files and discovered something. There were actual files in there, not many but a lot. One was of a 10 year old boy, Nathan. Another for a teenager, he didnt recognize him, Patrick Monroe. And only one more, himself. It was when an unknown assailant shot him, when he was a cop and not a banker like he is today. Jonah shoved the papers into his backpack. He bumped into Silas, "Did you find anything?" asked Silas with some sheets in hand. "Yeah, but I will show everyone when we get back" he said leaning on the wall. Silas nodded then spoke "We need to go to the police station next" he started shoving the sheets into his bag. "Why?" He asked. "I saw you stuff the files, and I'm taking a guess that there will be some more over there". "Why do you think that?" Asked Jonah. "Well not everyone has a squeaky clean record" Silas started t walk towarda the rom Nathan was rummaging. And then all of a sudden the sound of glass shattering began to ring. "What the-" it didnt take long for everyone to feel the sharp shards inflict them pain. "WE GOT TO GO!" yelled Thea.

Currently...

"I'll go" says Silas with a bloody arm. He walks into the bathrooms were Jonah lays in the bathtub, unconscious. "Why is he so damn stubborn?!" says Thea obviously upset. "He is right though" says Hudson sitting on one of the beds in the room. "What?!" Thea's distaste for Silas shines brighter then the damn sun. "It wont change much. We need to go find out if there are other files". She sits down on a chair near the bathroom.

2 days later...

They've decided to go above the streets to avoid the powerlines, and fears. They sited the station. Jonah and Nathan stayed behind. Jonah got the worst of the glass shatter and needs time healing, and Nathan stayed behind to make sure he stays ok. "Ready?" asks Hudson.
