Chapter 7

The Police Station *****

They entered through the back door trying to not alarm any lurkers near by. They went in one by one. Silas went first with Thea and Hudson in his heels. "Look" says Hudson pointing at jail cells. "Yeah so what?" Said Thea with a confused look on her face. "How much you willing to bet that there's an office just through those doors" he said motioning his head towards two steel double doors. "Wouldn't hurt to try" said Silas already walking towards there. He slightly opens the door for a peak, but the sound of a screech stopped him in his tracks. The metal doors let out the loud screech causing everyone to flinch. Eventually Silas flinched the entire door all the way back. Causing the doors to rumble. "What's wrong with you?!" Yells Thea in a hushed tone. "Well what would you have preferred, princess, loud long screech, or the short version" says Silas slightly pissed off. She rolls her eyes and enters the other room, which was an office. She grabs her gun out of her waist line, and checks the room. Hudson enters the room aiming for movement and Silas heads straight for the files. He rummages through until he finds 7 files. He doesn't bother to check them he just shoves them into his back pack. He slams the first drawer shut, ten the second. However, something catches his eye right before he slams the third one, a newspaper clipping. And it's headline "Family Death by Sea". He try's to read the article when he starts hearing gunshots, someone is trying to get inside. He shoves the slipping into his Jean pocket and grabs his gun. "Let's go" says Hudson. Thea nods in agreement but, has a different idea. "We got to go stay and find something" he states with his eye on the door. "What do we need to find?" Asked Thea in a panic. "The guns" said Silas loading his gun. They shuffled out of the office. And searched. Then the barking started "Silas we gotta get out of here" said Hudson. "One more room" said Silas. "Like now!" Said Hudson after hearing a door kicked in. And then jackpot, they found the guns room. "Take as many as you can"said Silas already grabbing a bulletproof chest plate and a hand gun. Hudson hooked three handguns to his waistline. Thea grabbed a duffle bag where the boys loaded the weapons. A smash was heard, "we really got to go" said Thea.
