The Neighbors Next Door

Chapter Two

As we walk we talk about music and I discover that they are actually a band called 5 Seconds of Summer, how cool is that! I tell them how I have my own little farm and do art and write some music and play guitar and they say that I should do a gig with them and I instantly agree since it would be so much fun.
Once we arrive at my place I lead them to the barn and let them pic out the horse that they like after I provide information about the horse and how friendly each one is so that they don't get hurt. I smile at their choices but frown a little when I notice that Luke seems to be avoiding the horses but then it clicks in my head.
I walk over to Luke and tap his shoulder. "Hey, it's ok. They won't hurt you come here." I say as I walk over to Dixie.
"You can ride Dixie, she is my nicest horse. I would trust her with anyone she is really gentle and she even likes music!" I say as I play some music from my portable speaker which makes him smile but he still seems very hesitant .
"I'll ride her with you to make sure you're okay, how's that sound?" I ask and he blushes but boss his head and I notice Ashton smirking at me and I shake my head.
"So to get into the horse put your foot here and grab their hair. It keeps from putting too much weight on their spine and they don't feel it, it's just like pinching the skin on your elbow." I say showing them where to grab and place their foot.
"Next you're going to jump up and sling your other leg over keeping your left foot in the same spot and placing your right foot in the other side."
They try to get on and Calum and Ashton succeed but i walk over to Luke and help him on and then help Michael get on as well. Once their on I get on Dixie with Luke and teach them how to work the reins. After they get the hang of it I lead them out of the stable allowing Luke to control and to stabilize myself I gently wrap my arms around his waist which makes his body stiffen.
"Hey it's okay, I'm just holding in so that I don't fall off." I say which calms his nerves.
After a little while of riding around Luke gets comfortable so I take us back to the stables so he can pick a horse. He chooses one of my top five, Smokey Blue. He's an average sized horse who's black and grey.
We go back out the the fields and I decide to take them to the fields so we the horses can gallop. Since I'm used to horse I click my tongue and give a nudge and Dixie starts running and we jump the poles that I have set up for leaps.
"Do y'all wanna go to the store with me, I don't have a car so I take a horse their, it's very common around here." I say and they all cheer so I take them on a trail and we head to the store. This will be interesting.
