3rd Person POV

Tony yawned as he woke up, he checked his phone.

12 pm in the afternoon.

"Are you kidding me?" He groaned, still not wanting to get out of his bed.

Gurgg~

His stomach began rumbling, "Welp, I guess I'm hungry." He rubs his stomach as he tried to stand up and stretch his body. "I don't even know if this is still breakfast or lunch." Tony mumbled while he left his room.

He proceeded to go down the stairs and enter the dinning area and in his suprise, his friends were still there.

"Well, look who just showed up." Clint grinned pointing at Tony who looks like a retard.

Tony yawned, "Mornin'."

The team all looked at him, thinking the same thing. "Tony- " Steve was about to say something but Tony cut him off, "Yeah, I know. I woke up late." He rolled his eyes.

"No, actually I was going to ask how was your sleep? But I guess I figured it out that it went well." Steve smiled at him.

"O-oh.." Tony blushed a bit.

NO. STOP IT, TONY!

He looked a way as he hides his blush, "W-whatever, I'm hungry so give me food."

Steve chuckled, "Well, just in time. We have meatloaf here."

"OOH! MEATLOAF!" Thor was about to touch the food but then Bruce slapped his hand, "Thor, no. Use the fork and spoon."

Thor frowned a bit, but obeyed as what he said, he doesn't want the green one coming out if he disobeyed Bruce.

Tony grinned seeing everyone happy, specially Steve. He then sat with them on the table.

"C'mon over, Clint." Natasha called him out and they started to ate. Everybody except Tony.

"Hey, you ok?" Steve said to him.

Uh-oh.

Tony was actually sitting besides Steve. "Uh..Y-Yeah." He placed a small smile.

Maybe if I just act like the old Tony, I could get away from my feelings towards Steve.

Tony thought of that for a while, he then took a slice of the meatloaf and began to eat.

TUD TUD TUD

Steve began training with his punching bag again, it was his daily routine.

"Hey." Natasha suddenly interrupted him.

"Hi." He turned around to face Natasha, she was wearing a sports bra and black shorts along with her black and white sneakers. "Um, what are you doing here, Nat?"

"What? Is it bad to check up on the Captain?" She joked, Steve only chuckled a little.

"Ok, ok. What do you want?" He stopped working out to talk to her. Natasha then sits with him.

"Alright, you have a thing for Tony, am I right?" She went straightforward.

Steve blushed red. "W-What?"

"Look, just talk to him casually and maybe you two can get close to each other once again." She said.

"Once again?"

"Yes, once again."

But what does she means 'Once again'?

Steve was confused.

"Oh don't worry, you'll get it soon." Natasha then stood up and waved goodbye at him before she left.

"Hey, uh, Jarvis." Tony was working down his lab again.

"Sir? " The A.I. responded.

"Do you know how to interact with someone you like?" Tony asked as he painted his new suit.

"Try to use Google, sir."

"You know what, sometimes I really do hate you." He sighed, sitting on his table desk and stopping his work for a while. "Do you think, maybe I should go back to my old self so that I won't be bothered by Steve?"

"It is up to you sir."

Tony took a drink of his coffee, thinking if his idea could work or not. But he can try. "Yeah, ok. Maybe I'll start with that tomorrow."

But then, he saw Steve coming down on his lab.

Shit.

"Ok, you know what? I'll start with it now." He then walk towards him as he opened the door from his lab.

"Uh, hey? What're you doing here?" Tony lifted up his goggles.

"Um, hey. I just um, I wanted to check on what you're up to. If that's ok with you?" Steve looked down.

"Oh? Is that so? Well, as you can see, I'm busy." Tony pointed at the armor that he's been working on. But as much as he's doing this, he really wanted to hang-out with Steve right now.

"Ah, right. Sorry to bother you." Steve chuckled a little nervous.

"Bothersome." Tony muttered.

"Excuse me, what?" The soldier looked at him with his confused face. "Could you repeat that again?"

"I'd rather not, didn't you just heard what I said?" Tony sighed. "What an old geezer." He rolled his eyes.

"WHAT?" Steve widened his eyes.

"Yeah, you heard me old man. Now go get out of here and don't bother me again."

Steve furrowed his eyebrows, "You know what, Tony? I thought you actually changed, but I guess you didn't."

"Guess it again." Tony scoffed.

"I came down here because I wanted to talk to you, I wanted to be friends with you again and to start a new beginning. But to think of it, I think you don't want to. You're just pretending things again, you're a liar, a fraud." Steve said.

Tony gasped in shock, "And to think of it, Captain America, the pure hearted soldier and a patriotic man insults the one and only Anthony Stark!"

"So? What are you gonna do about it?" Steve looked down at him, he's 10 inch taller than him, but he's cute though.

"You wouldn't." the other man glared at him like it was his last life about to be ended. He looked up at him, trying to reach Steve's height.

"Shorty." Steve continued to piss him off.

But Tony didn't back up, "OLD GEEZER."

Steve then narrowed his eyebrows, he sighed. "You know what? This is the beginning of a new FRIENDSHIP." He said sarcastically while he started to walk away towards the exit.

"YEAH. GO CRY AWAY WITH YOUR LITTLE PATRIOTIC BUTT OFF."

And with that, Steve slammed the door shut. Aloud.
