3rd Person POV

"Ok, so the blast came from Loki, but what kind beam is that?" Steve asked.

The two were sitting on Steve's bed, thinking carefully. But the other one seems to be feeling bored now.

"Tony?" Steve looked at him, "Hey, are you listening?"

"What? Oh, right yeah." Tony sighed.

The soldier pouted, "I thought you wanted help?"

"I do, I'm just a bit..you know?"

"What?"

"A little..uhh out of the color?"

"What do you mean?"

Tony sighed for a long time, he let his back fall on the bed.

"What's the matter?" Steve continued asking.

Tony stretched himself, "Mmm, nothing really."

The blonde looked confused, and thought of something to lighten up the mood a little. A kiss maybe?

And for that, Steve leaned down at him, "Tony." He placed his hand on his cheek, slowly closing his eyes.

Tony turned to look at his lover, who was almost going to kiss him, but then the cat furiously blushed and pushed Steve away. Poor soldier.

"Uhh." Steve looked rather a bit annoyed.

"W-What are you doing?" The cat's tail was looking furious now.

"If there's something wrong, you can tell me anything." Steve frowned. "I don't want you to feel left out even when I'm always here for you."

Tony looked at him, and suddenly bursted out of laughter. "Pfft-! What are you even talking about?"

Steve raised a brow, "I thought you were sad or something?"

"I'm not sad capsicle." Tony chuckled, "I just..what if I never came back? What if there's no solution for my problem? What if-..."

Stark paused for a moment, "WHAT IF I'M GONNA DIE?"

The soldier immediately shook his head and holds Tony's arms tightly, "W-What are you saying Tony?" He looked terrified.

Tony looked at him, maybe for about a minute and then he laughed.

Steve lightly punched him in the arms, "Tony, I'm serious.." He made a worried face.

"Alright, alright." The brunette stopped, "I have an idea, we can just contact Thor or Bruce, or..I can just build a machine by myself since I'm a fucking genius." He smirked widely.

What a show-off. Steve thought, as he rolled his eyes.

"What?" Tony chuckled.

Steve sighed in annoyance, "It's up to you Tony. You know I'm not good at scientific magical situations, so I can't help you that much."

The cat shrugged, "Alright, get in contact with Thor and I'll be with Bruce."

Bruce.

Steve got a little jealous by the idea of them being together in the lab again, since they were called the 'Science Bros'. Though, he didn't want to think much of it right now because of the current situation that they're dealing with. "Got it."

"Good, let's get it on."

"You know what, I really think we should get home as soon as possible." Pepper said.

"So, should we cancel our trip?" Natasha asked, worried as well.

Pepper answered with a nod, "After all, Tony is my boss and he is my top priority besides my job."

Natasha paused for a minute, "Besides me?"

"Nattt, it's not like that." Pepper pouted.

"I'm just kidding, blondie." The redhead kissed her cheeks.

Pepper cuddled with her, "I love you no matter what."

"Awwe, I love you too b." Natasha replied.

"But- I still don't know how we're gonna tell it to them..specially with the whole team." Pepper looked down.

Natasha cupped her cheeks, "Look at me."

The blonde obeyed and looks directly at her glistening emerald green eyes.

"I want you to know that I won't let you down and even if things don't go as planned, I'll always be there for you. So don't worry." Natasha smiled.

Pepper almost teared out, "You know, I'm really lucky to have you."

"Me too-"

Cough..cough...

Both ladies got alarmed and looked behind them.

"What a bittersweet event." Loki smirked, standing up in front of them.

"Get back." Natasha pulled out her gun from her pocket as Pepper slowly grabs her phone on the table to call the police.

Loki suddenly blasted a beam towards the table, making Pepper jump out of surprise.

Natasha loaded the gun and fired it quickly to the direction of Loki.

Loki didn't notice it until a thunder strikes inside the building, causing the bullet to hit on another way and the ceiling to collapse after.

Thor got on his knees in front of Loki, "Brother! What are you doing here?"

Loki furrowed his brows, "My, my, I wasn't really expecting you to come by here and fetch me. How did you find me here anyways, my dear brother?"

"Captain contacted me." The god of thunder answered.

Loki rolled his eyes, "Ugh, how and when did you even got a rectangle device?"

Natasha raised a brow, "You mean a phone?"

"Silence!" Loki yelled at her.

"Ok boomer." Pepper said in the background.

Thor suddenly tackled him, making them both fall into the ground. "Haha! Got you!" He puts the hammer on top of his leg. "You've got no where to run brother, give up or face the consequences."

Loki squirmed, "What are you even talking about? Consequences!?"

"You were supposed to be attending our family gathering, but then you're only here to  make fun of the humans." Thor said.

"Shut up, get me out of here!" Loki yelled once again.

Thor chuckled, "Gladly." He wielded his hammer and finally teleported back to Asgard.

The only ones left was Pepper and Natasha again after that.

Natasha immediately ran up to her lover, "Pepps! Are you ok? Are you hurt?" She checked her everywhere.

"Y-Yeah, got only a little wound. But all in all I'm perfectly fine." Pepper replied.

Natasha sighed with a relief, "At least now we don't have to deal with that Loki."

"We still have to get back home and check how the boys are doing." Pepper said with a worried look on her face.

"Yeah..but do we have to pay for the expenses first?" The redhead looked around their place, looking like a wreck after the fight.

"Oh."
